No Conspiracy ? Making every creature Goyf Incarnation Technique or big dumb card like Breach the Multiverse to mill yourself and Reanimate your Creature Wreck and Rebuild is so modal for this deck. Either Ramp + Mill or Removal Buried Alive and Unmarked Grave could be fun too Always a fan of Aftermath Analyst I loved everything about this upgrade and agree with the cuts ( though I kept Archon because I added Animate Dead + Reanimate and some other stuff)

The Card Vicious Rumors, for one black mana, Sorcery Vicious Rumors deals 1 damage to each opponent. Each opponent discards a card, then mills a card. You gain 1 life.

Shifting Woodland, Aftermath Analyst, Song of the Dryads, Victimize, Cathartic Pyre, Warlock Class, Haywire Mite, Smuggler's Surprise, Animate Dead, Underrealm Lich, and Nihil Spellbomb are all good to include for various reasons. If you want to build on a budget and opponents are slower Treacherous Terrain, the MH2 artifact dual lands, and the landcycling-for-1 creatures are worth a look. Pernicious Deed is good versus Eldrazi token creatures and Nadu decks but if you don't see those it may be too symmetrical and mana intensive. I built a dredge version of the deck to go harder after Disa cheating creatures into play: Hermit Druid, Entomb, Burning Inquiry, Sylvan Library, Buried Alive and all the Dredge 4+ creatures and self-mill payoffs like Terravore (a Lhurgoyf), Living Death, Apocalypse Demon, and Lord of Extinction (definitely keep the Maskwood Nexus to make those last two Lhurgoyfs). For those who try that, two tips: Don't forget to put your dredge creatures from hand to the grave on upkeep with Tortured Existence same for activating Hermit Druid. And don't forget Pyrogoyf sees all the goyf creatures that entered along with it when you Living Death. Haven't tested it yet but Bone Harvest could be great with a dredge creature and goyfs in the grave and Disa in play. As the spell resolves you dredge instead if draw and put the goyfs, that you just put from grave to on top of your library, into play. I think the Mimic Vat is cool, but too slow to generate value and depends on opponents playing destroy/damage creature removal. Liliana of The Veil also strikes me as a card that, if you can protect her and get the discard for value chain going, you're likely winning anyway. She's probably very handy though against voltron and commander-centric-combo opponents like Nadu. If you can catch them without low-value creatures in play. Liliana, Death's Majesty is less efficient than Lilly of the Veil, with a lower ceiling on how good she can be, but the token-making+mill, reanimation and wrath abilities are all pretty good a lot of the time. A couple other Planeswalkers worth considering depending on your deck are Daretti, Scrap Savant and Garruk, Wildspeaker.

You can also bury Polygoyf, Pyrogoyf, and Anger to burn down blockers with pyrogoyf, go to combat and swing with poly thanks to Anger giving haste, then have Disa potentially make 3 more goyfs that will further let you burn people with pyrogoyf

Or 2 Lhurgoyfs and an Anger so they get to attack right away. Also Morality Shift exchanges your graveyard with your library. So with disa out it basically reads "7 mana, summon your deck"

@@derekstoll1282 So Ashes of the Fallen makes all your creatures Lhurgoyfs when they are in your graveyard. The way Disa works is, whenever a card is put into your graveyard, she checks to see if that card is a Lhurgoyf. If it isn't she leaves it there, if it is, she pulls it out. When you have Ashes of the Fallen in play, Disa sees every creature that is put into your graveyard as a Lhurgoyf when it is put in there.

Burnished heart is an artifact and creature that you can put in your own graveyard for value. pumping your goyfs. You actually cut a few artifacts. Green ramp spell are great, and I think the cut is fine, but it was serving a function. i like a mass discard like dark deal in this spot. same 3 drop but puts everyone's hand into the yard, more types, more discard for our commander, some card "draw/selection". and messes with your opponents plans. You know. Jund.

Breach the Multiverse! You want Jund value? How about a 4 for one and possibly more because you also get all your Goyfs that you mill. I’m also not a huge fan of them, but I did add Cultivate/Kodama’s Reach to my build because they are cheap and fit in nicely curving into Disa. The Spree card, Smuggler’s Surprise, also seems really good here with its flexibility giving protection to your board, milling, and drawing a couple cards. It’s also a way to cheat out Archon and something else at a discount.

@@starquest6512 Lord of Extinction I definitely do recommend, I'm also running/trying out Yargle and Multani, and Titanoth Rex. Other than that, I ended up swapping out most of the cards that Rachel and Murph recommended cutting and instead added in more low-cost 2 ramp spells and a few extra self-mill effects, especially "Aftermath Analyst" and "World Shaper".

Coram is better with or without upgrading the deck. The trigger is on attack. So you can still attack for 0/5 mill everyone 1 card and then cast or play those cards. It's card advantage.

Warstorm Surge is a Terror of the Peaks effect on an enchantment, While costing 6 mana (5c & 1 red) It gives you another avenue for dealing damage. Also since the Goyf tokens base power & toughness is lord-based you'll get more triggers off of Warstorm Surge.

One of my personal favorite adds is mesmeric orb because it both mills opponents based on their own greed, while simultaneously allowing you to cheat goyfs from your deck on your untap step

A personal favorite pet card I'm going to run for this deck is Cauldron of Eternity. It's downside of whenever a creature you control dies put it on the bottom of your library instead may end up helping Disa then hindering it since you can then later Entomb or Buried alive the goyfs back to the field instead of them sitting in your graveyard. (Check out the new Lively Dirge card from OTJ too). It also comes with a 3 mana reanimate ability that can bring out any other creatures that get put into your graveyard either before the artifact enters or anything that gets milled/discarded afterwards.

I'm surprised y'all didn't think of Conspiracy, not the set. It's Arcane Adaptation in black! It's the og "make every creature you own the Chosen creature type". Also surprised not many evasion includes, my personal favorite being Zephyr Boots, gives a creature flying and if they connect you draw a card and discard a card, all things you wanna do. Other than that I love the video and the suggestions you guys made, definitely top one I didn't think of was Mimic Vat. Super excited to upgrade this deck

What a great End-Step, Monster Hunter is just a great franchise. Love Josh's story about the PS3. I hope WoTC keeps enabling new archetypes in Commander, as it's always refreshing to have a different and interesting way to play the format rather than going for the strongest standalone cards each time. Whenever there's a high degree of synergy and cards you wouldn't usually see at a commander table, that's a great deck in my eyes.

Disa is a neat card but the synergies are also mild non-bos. You want diverse card types in your yard but you also just want goyfs. You want stuff in your bin but you’re cheating stuff out of your bin. You want cheap evasive creatures but you also just want goyfs and you again want diverse card types in a deck that also just want even more creatures. There’s a lot to balance when building this one.

Disa can cheat in Altar of the Goyf. Disa says "Lhurgoyf permanent." Altar of the Goyf is a Lhurgoyf. Use Entomb, discard, or mill to get it into the graveyard.

The thing about Altar of the Goyf, and why I kept it, is that you never actually pay mana for it. You are either discarding it to your various discard effects (you should be running a lot), or flipping it directly into the bin. In either case it's 0 mana, and 0 mana for that effect is insane, especially when you're constantly shitting out 6/7s.

If cards get a reprint in commander decks it is wise to wait a month or so and just buy what you need on the secondary market. Especially when there is a reliable way to get your hands on them prices will tank for months. For me it isn't worth buying a precon if the strategy doesn't interest me at all. I just grab some reprints weeks and months later if I need them.
