I don’t think they feel the need to make an E63s given that the GT63s is made on the same platform as the E63s and now comes with 841hp. I don’t think they’ll feel enticed to especially if the new M5 hybrid cannot beat the GT63s E. But its to be seen id love the E63s back

@@redstonekids2716 i mean the previous already M5C beats the the GT63SE and the CS widens the gap but the price difference is too much, a GT63SE is priced similarly to the porsche panamera which i think destroys both especially with the new suspension. Always better to have more v8s going into the future and more competition will give us better cars so hopefully the E63s gets the v8 too.

The problem that appears on the side of the rear bumper because the plastic can not be fixed to copy the exact same angle of the metal part of the body creates an effect of "repainted" bumper. I cant believe how mercedes cant address this issue.

I work at a Mercedes dealership, and the traffic on the new C63 has been very lackluster. We sold one, and are currently sitting on 3 in stock. CLE53’s are pretty pricey and I think we only sold one of those as well since we started getting them in over the summer. I don’t know of a V8 will help these vehicles in terms of sales… It might be too late.

B Pillar and the back is way too round and soft. And from the front it looks like a CLA. The design is a problem aswell. I know many mercedes guys who are disappointed.

Mercedes never got rid of the v8 because they thought customers would love it. They 100% did it for emissions and regulations. I also STILL highly doubt this is going to be a v8.

The spy photos reveal a standard fuel filler without a second port for charging, clearly indicating it’s not a plug-in hybrid. Since a 4-cylinder engine would require a plug-in setup, and they've already used an inline-6 in the CLE 53, the only logical options are either another inline-6 or a V8 engine

I don't believe it when Ferrari & Lamborghini can still produce V12 for another 5-7 years. CMIIW but the emissions regulation is based on company's average. Which means if you produce enough EVs and hybrids, you can get away with gas-guzzling, low-volume models. Therefore they still can produce V8s, maybe with hybridization.

7:10 The S63 has what I guess one can refer to as a ‘hybrid’ grill in terms of the smiling/angry grill design and boy does it look the part. I don’t know what Mercedes’ exterior designers were thinking with the angry design grill…seems like they ran out of talent and decided to just invert the grill. Their cars would look even better if all of them had a similar grill to the S Class

I agree, I think we'll see numbers around the low 500hp mark. Still a strong upgrade to the 53 and the sound will be incredible. The six cylinder is a great performer, but it just doesn't have that AMG sound you'd expect.

Idk man. I like bmw headlight design and csl tail light design alot more then mercedes. Those are crucial elements in making a distinctive car imo. Mercedes literally copies and pastes the same designs. BMW plays around with their main design element, the kidney grille. Sure not all of their models are objectively “beautiful” but guess what….they are a business that needs to make money.
