A big question on a lot of people's mind is what type of lawn fertilizer to use in the winter, especially on St. Augustine grass, or lawns that don't go dormant. I'm going to share with you a great winter fertilizer that doesn't push too much growth, and will give your grass what it needs to get through the winter. We have our choice between organic and synthetic. Both are great and you'll have good results with either one you choose.
The fertilizer I choose is Sunniland 8-0-10, which is perfect for winter grass that doesn't go dormant. It has just enough Nitrogen to keep the grass green, but not push growth, and it also has a good dose of Potassium which is great to relieve a stressed out lawn.
