I bought a thermo king evolution 3 years ago, a/c is not enough for SW temps, and heater is extra mounted item. I’m looking to change over to a green model, haven’t made up my mind yet.

That’s not the way that I was instructed to run a tap in automotive shop class. We were taught to back off the tap to release he chip. What’s your experience?

Those very expensive apu only handles 6k to 7k btu. They are not powerful enough for summer in arizona, texas, MM or anything over 100. Get yourself a mini split 12k btu anf that thing will cool your truck in extreme heat.

I disagree I don't know about the green apu but I had a thermo king on my old truck and I run Texas and AZ alot and it worked grate maybe yours was not working properly

GreenAPU puts out closer to 24000 or 26000 BTUs.

Won’t bother installing myself. Always get professionals to install their equipment. Saves time and money while preventing potential repair expenses to tank and parts of truck. Plus you’ll be on the road faster making more profit otherwise.

If you use 5/8 instead of 16 mm along with your 9/16 you don't need to pull out two set of sockets I believe those are standard not metric

It's true they are loud, Its a generator and it's the compromise for comfort you are getting air conditioning or heating. Plus power and it's cheaper then running your truck all night. It's saves fuel and truck life so its worth the cost over time.
