I got into a fight with my dad when we watched this. He suports Trump, and got super pissed that Green Day would change the lyric to MAGA - I responded that Green Day has always been anti-conservative, and their politics have always been against wverything that Trump stands for. Idk I find it funny that this band is getting hate from people who have been too deaf to relaise what theyve always been saying: no racism, no sexism, no homophobia, and no Donald Trump.

They still sound amazing, I’ve been a fan since 7th grade after I saw them for the first time. Green Day inspired to me to get into music and learn an instrument. They’re still one of my favorite bands. I might not agree with all of their political stances to a degree, but that’s the awesome part of music, creating discussions and unity through it.

Punk can't make a comeback. It involves hating the government and you guys and these "punk rockers" just love the government so much, so long as the person you like is in office.
