I haven't tested it recently but I have been playing one the standard Xbox One (it's been probably several months to maybe a year since I've played) and there were some graphical issues. Some frame drops especially when in the rain or if you have a lot of resources/materials around. On occasion, items would sometimes clip and fall through the world and be lost and I have had a few instances where the ground in some areas looses all texture and is just a blank black void you can walk on depending on what direction you look at it from. But other than that, it was still a pretty solid survival game.

It definitely reminds you of The Forest game and many elements,but it's way better,and I think this one is right up there with The Long Dark in the survivor games.

Haven’t played the game for a year and decided to get back into it. It’s still just as difficult as always but loads of fun. I’m very thankful to myself for writing all the available blueprints and such for console down 😂 So I can still remember how to craft my gear and what all the plants and different bandages are

For me, having to check every side of each limb for a leech/wound would ruin the gameplay for me, especially if i had to really frequently, i never got why people gotta make fun looking games a pain in the ass, like im tryna have fun, not be pissed off the whole time

Green Hell is the survival game that I will compare all future survival games to. It stands unmatched in the library of games I’ve played. Mind you, I only have 65 hours in Green Hell

Honestly, this game needs to tighten up the directional deadzones for controller on PlayStation. I hate when I try to look left or right, and instead of turning directly left or right, I also look slightly up or down because oh no, my thumb was half a millimeter down from directly left. A Controller is not a mouse. It’s cannot be defaulted to have such precise controls, or at least needs a slider to tighten up these dead zones. Instead, the game has a “motion smoothing” slider that just makes your character keep turning long after you stopped pushing the stick, and it’s horrible. Basically, devs who port games from pc to consoles: learn how to map control stick movements properly. Don’t just copy and paste the mouse and keyboard functions and call it a day

I really enjoy "Greenhell" i just wish there was more content in the game & alot more blueprints to unlock & use such as a bamboo dart gun 😢 & possibly a chainsaw to cut down larger treees, oh & a shovel wouldn't hurt allow us to dig holes in the game to bury bodies 😢that would be so damn cool 😩

I have it on PS4,and 14 friends that play survival games.only 2 out of 14 can handle Green hell. no matter how well organized your are you just can't insolate from the unpredictable events in Green hell Best way to explain Green hell(It's A Bitch)lol but that's what makes it fun.I hope wild side comes out on playstation.

I recently started playin green hell and so far i love it how hard it is but... will be there more updates? so far i was attacked by tribe members 5 times and im there already for quite some time. i think the forest had much more mechanics and gameplay. map is small. not too much to discover or use but the basics. i dont know. if thats all they give us then it was a waste of money if u ask me. old forest has much more to offer.

the base game doesn't have vr support. VR version is available separately on steam, if that's what you meant.

If you can play it in VR, DO it. Get the SteamVR version. I am addicted to it. It's super fun to hunt with the bow and build stuff. I did kinda just jump into survival (haven't finished story) so I had a bit of learning to do, but man is it fun. I got it on sale for 15 dollars, looks like it's still on sale!

Ugh I hate the way he makes fire. People should know by now that the way he did it, was the worst way. What you really should do is cut a groove into a larger piece of wood and rub a stick back and forth up and down the groove.

They haven't been keeping it up to date much cause they are mainly PC developers after all, it's like asking pizza hut to start making cheeseburgers they can try but it's not there expertise. As for the Switch version it's just dumb that they abandoned it almost straight away they keep saying it's Forever Entertainments responsibility to update it but I have a feeling they just don't wanna deal with the troubles of developing for that as well as the PC PS4 & Xbox especially since the Switch has significantly weaker hardware

Me and my friend started playing it on ps5 a few weeks ago and we’re loving it, it just takes some getting used to. All of the mechanics work well (mostly) and the graphics are definitely serviceable.

This games really sucks. I just brought it ran tought the Tut, and into Survival. And erhm, is it normal that a survival game, that relay hevely on Stones ? That there is no stones anywhere in this game. There sould be plenty of stones in the forest. This SUCKS I ran 80 min around just looking for stones, and NONE. Lol

It doesn't really rely on them that much, does it? You just have to know where to look, they're usually only around big boulders, which are usually by the water

It's quite clunky, story is lacking; looks aged, building is meh (not too many things to build) micromanaging and your player getting winded after jumping a few times is annoying, combat is janky, there's a lot of bugs both in game and the game itself and Jake himself is pretty unlikeable. I'd skip it or pay 5 dollars.
