Blocking is a good idea, but if you are using the standard tongue and groove subfloor panels you really don't need it at the joints. A really neat tool for cutting along the walls is called a toe kick saw. It's kind of a specialty tool, but great for flush cutting along walls and such.

I haven’t even watched this video yet, but based on thumbnail, I wanted to make a comment. I found your channel as we are remodeling a mobile home. Through your channel, we found out about the oscillating tool. We are cutting on the edges of the wall and yes, I had a contractor to give me a quote. He was only going to use a regular saw along the edges. Thanks for sharing your techniques and knowledge with us. Now, I have to see every video. Keep up the great work and I can’t wait to see how your new homestead continues to grow. You have made great progress in what seems to be a short period of time.

There's also something called a toe kick saw, i bought one for 60 at harbor freight. It only cuts down to 3/4 inch, but it'll run right along the wall. Leaves a tiny ledge that cleans up beautiful with your oscillating tool.

I like it when you post after a couple of days work, we get a visit and the amount you get done is irrelevant. If you think you might do something in the laundry area, maybe put some blocking up for the cupboards and maybe do the extra outlets before you close in the closet wall. That way you're ready for that project and it's way easier.

Just a simple hint. When using fiberglass insulation, wear a face mask and gloves since the fibers are 'glass; and you do not want to breathe the glass fibers in. As for the battery backup that is 100% wise and in NO way a sell out when accepting/using it. In fact most people would be foolish not to accept and use one. Also appreciate seeing children ask if they can help!!

Who ever said you were selling out by being sponsored is totally wrong. Especially since you got to keep that, it's an amazing item that's is helpful. I think you need to be sponsored by a siding company now so you can get the outside of your trailer done for free.
