I don't know who will read this. I am a 22-year-old child development specialist who both works and studies, and I am also a young teacher. Every year of my life has been very difficult. I survived a very severe depression between the ages of 17 and 19, and I am still healing my inner child. Working with children helps with this, and at the same time I help them. I am healing my childhood, which I cannot remember having, with them. Unfortunately, I discovered the channel a little late, but I came across it at a time when I was struggling in the dark. I couldn't count how many stories I listened to, but people I may never have met in my life made me feel closer to many people I knew. Thank you for this, I'm glad to have you. Finally, I would add that years ago I said to my psychologist, "I don't feel like I have a place in the world as I am. With who I am." That's why this video was important to me. I'm still fighting to prevent the light within me from being extinguished by storms. Yet, despite all the evil, I will continue to shine like a lighthouse. Thank you.

Where do you find these wonderful humans? Why is the media / internet full of one dimensional celebrities / business motivational gurus rather than the multi-dimensional souls you give me. This woman is creative, articulate, genuine, she is all of us If we are willing, to let the masks we hide behind fall away. Im with her I don’t want to stop at the surface. She lives a deeply rich open, present life. Isn’t that what we all want? She inspires and encourages me to be my true self, as James Hollis says …our goal to have guts to be our truly eccentric selves… Thank you reflections of life 💚

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and views, interesting to read. So glad her message spok to you, and encouraged and inspired you. Regarding your question - The people we interview surround us all every day actually. It's about making the time to truly listen to each other, with open hearts and minds. And when we do that, something opens up and wonderful things can be shared. Some people we simply meet on the street, some are suggested by other people, and some we stumble across while reading articles or watching other videos. We hope to share many more inspiring stories with you. Sending you warmest of hugs, Justine and Michael. 💚

You write it is "insane" that Nicole ( the subject of the film ) said that "others helped her" ( overcome her trauma and pain ) even though it was "infected by others"! Well, indeed your statement was "blunt", but if you think about it... it's logical and not insane at all that others can be the cause of problems and solutions : someone caused a trauma ( accident ) which by definition is an "accident" and usually not intentional and someone else helped overcome the pain... perhaps doctors and counsellors !? Really, some people help and some people cause problems... we need others, no ?

@thewanderingjew1793 It sounds like you forgot to take your medications!! 💊 💊 So we all know ZERO about you - well thank goodness for that! because judging by your thoughtless comments towards others, your video would be very tacky indeed!! Then you start attacking the little doggy knowing ZERO about this lady's dog and their special bond. If an animal doesn't trust or like someone they don't stay close or sit on their lap. The dog is clearly a good buddy of hers. Does that upset you? You're super judgemental! Put your ego in check, calm down and maybe try write a poem to get all your frustrations out. It would be more meaningful for you and would spare us your destructive criticisms of this lady. You can't be a lighthouse if you are all rain 🌧 and no rainbow 🌈 think about that if you dare?
@bleucitron26 ай бұрын
Thanks for taking the time to reply to me and to underline the "errors" in "the point" I was trying to make and that of the woman in the film (ie. others can help overcome trauma ) and that I "missed your point entirely". Sorry for that. Without arguing ; I still don't understand your point of view and wonder what kind of trauma can cause a human being to turn their backs on humans entirely ? I am very sorry that you must know or even experience such trauma which by nature is pathogen. Yes, I'd like to understand the sentence you wrote " due to the nature of their trauma no longer wish to engage with others. Can you understand that?" Not really, perhaps something that makes one so traumatised and deceived about "others" that one can no longer trust and open up to another human ever again? War crimes such as torture perhaps ? Traumatised soldiers sometimes find healing to live with dogs...

I think we all struggle with acceptance. What happened to her is she stopped fighting. That's what makes any disease worse when you fight emotionally instead of trusting your body and giving it time and doing the right things to help it to heal itself. I am not talking about giving up I am talking about accepting that this or that happening or happened or will happen. I overcame my high anxiety and panic attacks without medication. Took me a full year and is still hard sometimes but whenever is hard I just remind myself about acceptance, accepting things and the way I feel as it is and put trust in my miraculous body. I honor him as my temple . Try to give right food and right emotion and put my mind over matter as they say.

At the beginning, I was tempted to switch off, but then I decided to watch to the end. Good decision, because listening to her and her lifes journey, what she went through and made her transform into the person she is now is calming and indeed a light for challenging, dark times. People can only mature by facing stormy days and rough waters. We manage to go through, whenever we focus on "lighthouses" or the center of our faith. I really loved the way she expressed it: Not to be there to show the boats where to go, but being a light to find their own way. I am glad that she is not suffering from pain any more! Thank you so much for sharing ❣️🙂

I hear you when you say you’ve been compelled to provide physical evidence of internal strife whatever its origin. Though it would be easier, some still wouldn’t see it. We owe no one an explanation or proof. Keep shining! 🦋🫧✨

Reflections of Life has done it again, thankyou 🙏. Nicoles astonishing journey sits with the many other astonishing expriences and experiencers and re-builds my faith in humanity. How can anyone ever understand the life she has had so far... 14 years of pain, where do I find the words? I could try but she obviously has the "gift" of experience and the gift of God given talent to describe so beautifully. Love to you Nicole, love to you "Reflections" and love to all that read this... inspired by an amazing human 🤍🙏

Touching the matter what a lighthouse can be. I have chronic pain too. I learnt how to live with. It‘s a totally other life than I had before. But now I slowly recognize that my soul was just in a need of this different way of living. I do not fit in. And from the outside it looks like a kind of hiding. But hell yes, why not. I am right now in the phase of life where I don‘t need to suffer anymore. So the pain became quite a part of my personality. And I have to love every single part of me. It’s ok now. And I still have a life to fill with dreams, to let them came true. They are really simple. It’s not a lighthouse in my case, but a sanctuary. And my definition of sanctuary (I speak german so I hope I can express it) is: a place within you and maybe it reflects itself in the outside as well. A cocoon to find comfort and love. Peace and Connection with nature, the cosmos and the wonders that can not be explained.

I loved your video - Yes, be a lighthouse! I have been working my way thru the other side of a cancer. There is still a fair amount of daily pain from the vertebrae that were affected. Yes, you do have to sort of accept things that you can't really cope with and give up keeping your house as you would like to have it. The garden is a complete wilderness but the birds and bees no doubt love it. Forget the frustration. Hopefully I can get back to some of it soon. SO grateful for the help from my children. The countryside and Nature are totally amazing. Listen to people. Thank you for making me stop and think back over what you said. Thank you for the hats too! A sense of humour will help no end.

Wowww... what a story. Reminds me of the best friend I grew up with, this friend is hurting since her childhood and she doesn't know that, that it is from those traumas. She's had fibromyalsia for decades which is has been known to be linked to physical and emotional stresses. I have been learning so much from my readings of Dr Gabor Mate' books "When the Body Says No" talks of trauma, illness and healing. Thank you for this story.

Struggles, hurt, pains, and setbacks make us stronger and reveal our resilience in the face of challenges. Our vulnerability is a testament to our humanity, and it's okay to be vulnerable. Life has taken me on a rollercoaster ride, teaching me that I'm stronger and more unique than I ever thought possible. I may not have everything, but I have myself, and I'm unapologetically shining my light for being authentic. I embrace my individuality and uniqueness, and I'm grateful to the universe for my strength and resilience. Life is a beautiful journey; let's embrace it and show the world that we are a beautiful part of this whole. Thank you so much @Reflections of Life for this
