I'm from in the Philippines and I was craving for more watching you mate fighting those massive fishes. The fishing rod was so strong, how I wish I could have one and use one someday.

Thanks heaps mate. How good is he. Blows me away how he still does it at his age. I can only hope I'm still doing the same at his age.

We are moving to Bundaberg, do you have any suggestions for running out of there and getting back in as I have no idea about the area Cheers Garry
@gregswickedfishing Жыл бұрын
Hi Garry, Nice part of the world you've moved too mate. Its a huge area offshore from Bundy and where you go depends on boat size and what you chase. Go and see the boys at Tackleworld Bundy. Tim is full of Knowledge and a legend bloke who will help you out.

@@gregswickedfishing Thanks for that it will be a huge help, Love the content, what is the exit and entry like for offshore from Bundy?
@gregswickedfishing Жыл бұрын
no worries mate. the exit out of burnett river from Burnett heads is one of the best on the east coast of Aus. Wide and very deep.

Awesome vid ,to me that's mind blowing fishing, pretty awesome to watch. What brand and size electric reels do you use.? l love that sound when your hooked up. Good weather here in SW Vic tomorrow, can't wait, tight lines mate.👍

Thanks heaps Stuart. We use a combination of Miya Epoch x8 and Krystal XL625 reels. I hope you got some fish mate?

Great video mates some very nice fish there how far north do you think the Flame tail go or is it just a depth thing
@gregswickedfishing2 жыл бұрын
Thanks heaps mate. They're more of a tropical species so you can get them pretty much from the Gold Coast northwards. They're a deep water fish so normally between 200 to 400 mtrs

Is that the 25 Mile off from Elliott Heads. My dad & I used to fish out there with Blue Water Club when I was in High School, back in the 1960s. Sometimes big fish, sometimes no fish. 🎣🤣👍🏻
@gregswickedfishing2 жыл бұрын
Hi Peter no it's a lot wider than that mate. I'm sure some great fish would have been caught in those areas back then.

Greg do you run an electric motor at all? Cheers Garry
@scottyzfishing56602 жыл бұрын
Another good trip out mate 🤙definitely put the miles in to get the box up to your standards , do you run these trips out Greg around the high fish activity ( almanac ) or just picking good weather and sending it making sure you are dropping on peak bite times for the day 🎣 cheers Scotty
@gregswickedfishing2 жыл бұрын
Thanks heaps mate its much appreciated. I work around the weather generally but I do keep an eye on bite times and make decisions at times on where I fish because of it.

Bloody awesome assortment of species. I would love to see any identifying photos of the Krasyukova’s Perch as the caudal fin doesn’t look right and the dorsal, pelvic and anal fins don’t look very pink. That being said it’s a very unusual fish and I haven’t seen one in the flesh. Amazing catches all round. Plenty I would love to be eating that’s for sure!
@gregswickedfishing2 жыл бұрын
Thanks heaps mate. The common Krasyukova's perch that most see are the beautiful pink and yellow ones which are female. This is a male one which are very similar in body shape but different in colour.

Fishing is dead in that part for sure

It can fire well at times but you just need to put the miles in to get the smiles.
