GVF have a strong love of nature - they go hiking a lot and check out the nature in the places they tour and in their spare time like to just get out in nature. That is why this album focuses on what man is doing to the planet - if you watch the official clip it might help. As for their vibe, they grew up with so many musical influences as their parents had music always playing and their Dad played in a band or two. They are great guys and are greatly talented.

I love Greta Van Fleet, Black Smoke Rising and Heat Above are great. I am an old school rocker so I am excited to have these young men playing their instruments, writing their music.

Watch their Red Rocks live performance!! When you are a headliner there, you’ve made it!! Josh (lead singer) and Jake (guitar) are twins....Sam (bass/keyboards) is their younger brother.....Danny is friend on drums. From Frankenmuth Michigan!!

I don’t believe they’re Christian but they do have the 70’s feel. I would recommend their song Edge Of Darkness live. Has a killer solo

Please do more Greta Van Fleet. Some info about the band: They're a group of 3 brothers and one close friend from Frankenmuth, Michigan. The band members are in their early twenties. They rose to fame in 2018 with the song "Highway Tune." They're not a Christian band. They get compared a lot to Led Zeppelin and Robert Plant himself has said he's a fan of them, though some critics think they sound too similar to Zeppelin to the point of copying them (which I don't really agree with). Some other songs of theirs to check out are "Age of Man" and "Edge of Darkness."

Funny you mentioned Zeppelin cause I thought the picture looked like cover art for them. even though they sound 70's I think they have their own sound but I have only heard this one song so far. I will add these songs to my list. should I also add the song Highway tune?
@michaelsaffron3643 жыл бұрын
Sure, might as well add Highway Tune. Black Smoke Rising is another good song while your at it :)

I don't think they are explicitly a Christian band, though they may well be Christian personally (or not, but the brothers are Polish in descent, so certainly possible). But their lyrics do tend towards the positive, constructive, and peaceful. Very Hopeful. Uplifting. Personally, I love it, I don't need any proselytizing, but this message is good...

I met them back in 2017. Jake lead guitar n josh vocals are twin brothers, sammy plays base, keys, n guitar, and are all brothers. Danny the drummer is looking term friend and considered their brother as well. These guys very much care about the earth, unity, peace, love, being peaceful and as humble as they come. They are all from frankenmuth Michigan. I know their parents ..just an awesome family. Check out their billboard charting, They were 18 and 21 when signed and played w Sir Elton, they are fabulous live. Just all out jam fest. Just Google you tube and check them out at red rocks in Colorado. There are part1,2, and 3. Just amazing. jzryder66@gmail.com You are in for an electric evolution! Glad you thought it was killer.

They're not a Christian band. It's a shame you didn't select the official video or the live version so you could get a look at them, and also some of the lyrics in this are not correct.

Have you heard *The Warning* ? They are 3 sisters from Mexico whose cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman went viral in 2014 (22+ million views). They just finished recording their 3rd album and Spector is coming out with a Signature Series bass in the name of the 16 year old bassist. This is Dull Knives, from their Queen of the Murder Scene concept album, a girl’s descent into madness: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4e4dK2ned6Cmqs
