Can you imagine being called the reincarnation of Led Zepplin but not actually wanting to be? Poor guys are rocking their hearts out and bringing us back the epic rock guitar sound and they only get recognition for sounding like Led Zepplin.

TRUE! Got to reckon that their sound has pretty hard similarities, but they are very original! I'm pretty happy and confident that GVF could actually put itself on the rock and roll icons! I just love this guys! And believe it, LZ are like, my 2nd favorite band of all time, im completely obsessed. People really need to listen music without compare to other artists, because they are getting rid of the variety of sounds we need.

That is because they started off as a Led Zeppelin cover band. And many of their earliest singles are definitely imitating Led Zeppelin, and probably why they didn't include them on their first CD. Their 1st CD is a lot more diversified.

Honestly, Greta Van Fleet reignited a lost musical flame inside of me, I had put my guitar away for few years, hadn't touched the drum set in longer. When GVF first release highway tune and from the fires I was pulled right back in and have been jamming again ever since. Meeting old friends to jam, the inspiration is real. Honestly, how can anyone NOT like GVF? They are such an honest to God rock and roll band in an age where most of our music comes from guys playing on their computers. I’m a child of the 70’s and they’ve gotten me to revisit and fall in love with bands of that era that I skipped over the first time. The more I listen, the more differences I see from the often compared Led Zep. Every band takes inspiration from before and they are truly becoming a unique sound in this era we’re in.

I just saw them live again and instantly needed to know how to play this song. They blew my mind all over again. Anyone who wants to rag on them for covering lef zepplin or borrowing material also needs to understand how much of zep is old blues legends. I adore both bands fully and completely but GVF lyrics like that of edge of darkness give me all the feels. Thanks for this❤

I absolutely love Greta. One of a my favorite modern bands. They convinced me to give modern (non metal music) a second chance. Lead me to discovering many other great modern bands.
