I don't mind people playing Zeppelin inspired blues rock, what I do have an issue with is that it goes way beyond the music, but also clothing, imagery and the "hippie"-arts talk when they discuss their music: "There's plenty of love left in this world, even though it may not seem like it. That's what 'Heat Above' is about, rising to the stars together." It's like they're trying too hard to copy the "zeitgeist" of an era to sell a brand, rather than just playing their stuff and being authentic.

Awesome! I'll have to try some of these techniques! As for the Led Zep & GVF thing, I think it is great these young kids pay homage with their similarity in sounds. It's just an influence, like WE ALL have! I mean, how many EVH clones did we have in the 80's! Kids today may not really know much about Led Zep, but if they are into GVF, they may go back and discover these mighty classic rock bands of our past and which I grew up on! It's all a win-win in my book. I'm glad someone is carrying the torch into the future. Keep rock alive!

Really excellent job of breaking down the techniques in these Artist Series videos. The info is pure gold. The guitarist that i’d recommend for a future video would be Michael Schenker - listen to UFO’s Strangers in the Night live album. Priest (Tipton/Downing) and Maiden (Smith/Murray) would also be good candidates if you haven’t already covered them.

I really enjoyed this even though I quit my guitar lessons after not much time. I'm sure that you explained very clearly to people who play. FYI, the band is Jake's dream that Josh and the guys are supporting him on. Josh wanted to act and make films, not sing. But they said that he was the natural choice to sing because he's been singing around the house his whole life. What a family.
