Definitely killer vocals on this one and you can’t say he sounds like Robert Plant and the solo nothing spectacular but fits the song well. I don’t think this album has a song that stick out like the few that the first 2 albums had but overall I think it’s a very strong album and definitely will help them get away from the Led Zeppelin comparisons that everyone should just leave alone because all artists musicians steal from each other and have been long before Greta Van Fleet came along and we should be proud that there is a rock band out there this young that carrying the classic rock torch and they are not toolbags like Machine Gun Kelly lol who plays the lamest shit I just about heard in my 44 years and now he thinks he a rock star.

First, as a 70 year old "long live R&R" person, I'm really heartened to read the comments from everyone who could, literally, be a grandchild of mine........thanks to all of you!! About the song - GvF has not written or recorded a bad, or even subpar song that I have heard. The early garage recordings certainly were, well, garage recordings....but the songs "....are still the same....". This new song is very anthem-like, "cinematic" as the band have thematically described the entire album. As always, Sam and Danny have the rhythm locked in, yet in a manner that gives individual voice to the bass and drums. So then, Josh and Jake have the platform to soar....the interplay of a multi-octave voice, and a guitar that Jake makes, in the words of Mark Knopfler, "cry and sing".... ("Sultans of Swing" - Dire Straits). This is a really good song. As a poet, I look forward to reading the lyrics, then listening again! Keep it going guy's....!! ✌☮

I Shazammed this song when I was out somewhere, and I thought it was an amazing woman singer named Greta van Fleet (which is a great name btw). I can’t speak for the rest of their music, but I think this song is a masterpiece. I see they’ve gotten flack from reviewers like Pitchfork and even from the great Robert Plant himself, who it seems they really have sounded far too much like in the past. The Led Zepplin influence is obvious and unmistakeable here too, but I take this song to be a truly original and inspired piece of work. Again, I can’t speak for any of their other songs, but if other more recent ones are as original as this, I don’t think they need to worry about criticisms about being derivative. This song is just so good.

I love how they capture & depict so many different vibes, styles and feelings through their music. They keep getting more & more authentic which you don’t see much in the music industry. So excited to see all the amazing work they do. ✨🤘🏻

Couldn't agree more. However they still manage to stay true to their original rock sound. It's crazy how much they've evolved over just three albums. Each album has a unique, yet familiar sound that has been nothing but an eargasm.

I heard this for the first time in the gym today. I was blown away at how good this is. What a privilege it is to be alive in this time with such fantastic music.

GVF is clearly the best band to have emerged in the last 20-25 years.

3:00 forward reminds me of when the love interest in a movie walks into a room in slow motion and the main character is just like: wow, I exist only for them.

Calling it now, with that intro in this song, this is bound to be the concert opener whenever they start up again!

About 4-5 years ago when they were trying to break in Robert Plant was interviewed about them. He said they are the real deal. It was only a matter time before they dropped this album when the king of lead singing hard rockers says that.
