I'm an old school rocker and a big fan of both bands! Any modern day rock band(GVF) being compared to the greatest rock and roll band of all times(LZ) is a pretty huge compliment! Frankly I think the comparisons are getting old! A big THANK YOU to Greta Van Fleet for keeping rock and roll alive...they ARE the Saviors of Rock imo!❤️🔥🤘🤘🤘

I don’t think the game answers the concern as to whether there’s any copying happening.

Just because there is similar styles and techniques when it comes to the singing of some gvf songs doesn’t mean they are copying Led Zeppelin.take into account how many other artist you could claim are “copying each other” if you just based it on the singing technique. Plus gvf recent album battle at the gardens gate features sounds that I have never heard zeppelin play. As far as vocals go josh does have some of the same singing techniques as zeppelin but when it comes to instrumentals and song writing they are completely different. I think it’s important that you don’t spread around the false claim that Greta copies zeppelin because you are overall robbing the audience of a really great listening experience when it comes to Greta van fleet. Overall Greta has a very unique sound as of now, which you would hear if you would take the time to listen to the newer album rather than an album from 2018. I hope what I have said makes you take a deeper listen into some newer Greta! And as always this is not hate just thought you should know.

I love both GVF and Led Zeppelin but I will say that GVF does take some elements from Led Zeppelin and implement them in their songs. Which is totally awesome btw, but the way that Danny drives the rest of the band and plays the same riffs on the drums that Jake plays on the guitar is a staple of John Bonham doing the same thing with Jimmy Page and the rest of Zeppelin. Also the way that Jake extends a lot of his solos is very similar to how Jimmy Page did that in Zeppelin. But I’m not hating at all they’re both phenomenal bands and I love both of them. It’s just that there’s always going to be the similarities between the two due to GVF being inspired heavily by zeppelin and they’re going to use some of the same techniques that zeppelin used. But I 100% agree with you that people need to stop comparing the two and saying GVF is ripping off Zeppelin.

@@mooselineoutdoors I also feel like a lot of people who voice their opinion on this don’t fully listen to gvf entire discography before voicing. Like if you only listen to from the fires then u def don’t know what gvf actually sounds like

@@Hollyjonkins oh yeah 100%. They’re not trying to be Zeppelin or Rush or any other bands they’re trying to be Greta Van Fleet. That’s what people don’t get. Their sound has changed so much over the years for the better.

Well, on the last question, it's a GVF song but it's NOT a LZ cover as the host said. It's called Lover, Leaver (Taker, Believer)

That’s definitely not Lover, Leaver (Taker, Believer) that’s GVF covering a Led Zeppelin song called Whole Lotta Love. Not trying to sound like a jerk but you might wanna double check before you post

Wow. Such tunnel vision. I hear many other influences. Yes, Rush, Styx, ELP, Kansas, Triumph, Pink Floyd, the Moody Blues for heavens sake. I guess they are ripping off all of Progressive Rock! The nerve!!😏
