Yep...he's def a weirdo. He never intended on getting caught, tho. He was very careful with the type of cell he was using and internet. U.S. law enforcement had been monitoring e-mails between Michael Tracey -- a journalism professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and Karr. Tracey sent Karr a photograph delivered to a Thai post office box. Agents arranged a control delivery and were ready to spot their suspect. When Karr picked up his mail, authorities followed Karr to his residence and finally learned his name, and arrested John Mark Karr.

The Boulder PD and the DA not only (majorly) dropped the ball in the murder investigation, but did a grave misjustice to the people by not charging this man for falsely confessing (IF he indeed did...FALSELY confess). All authority figures responsible for this guy's release need to be fired without pension and charged with being accomplices after the fact in the heinous murder.

Since he claimed he was attracted to children, i can't see why a church would ever do that. And just because his DNA didn't match up doesn't mean he didn't do it. Why did you call your friend and tell your friend you killed her? Why did you confess to a crime you now say you did not commit after a DNA test did not match yours? Criminals usually wear cloves and are careful not to leave fingerprints or DNA! Moreover, why are you referring to your girlfriend as a "girl" instead of a *woman*? Why would this man confess to such a heinous crime just to comfort the Ramseys? I listened. I am wondering if he met Patsy. He would NOT answer that question and he chided with John Ramsey about John not ever meeting him. This guy is off.

Because, you didn't know that there was someone else behind you, and that I was that fly on the wall that saw what such a monstrous, and bullie you were. When you hit that little Ramsey princess, on her head... Ya couldn't catch me though, cause we few away with me 10000000000000000000000000000 million eyes. GOTCHA, on replay! So DNA has proved the parents didn't kill her and I'm glad they are cleared for all these years. But now this weirdo saying he did but even though he didn't is fucking creepy. Who would admit to being a child killer! And where is the real killer. If the police did their job from the start, they would have found him. Smh

It was what's termed "SPOT DNA". And they only used 4 DNA markers when the norm/standard is to use 12 (I believe it's 12 but I definitely know it's a double-digit number).

I guess what is confusing to me is how. (I think I heard this like This) The detective helped him get in touch with John Ramsey and YET he responds that he's been in the home before the little angel died. Could he have been in that home before he was formerly introduced to John by the detective?? I better rewatch this.
