I'm English, so I can't wait for your leg of lamb and shoulder of lamb videos. Typically, we'll embed garlic cloves and rosemary into the leg of lamb, then roast it in a pot sat on leeks with some stock or red wine in the bottom of the pan. But, as the mrs has got a job occupying my computer on Saturdays, I'm keen to get back to grilling/smoking, as there's only so much shooting I can do. Have a good evening, I'm really enjoying your channel.

I'm 1st gen Greek and grew up w/ lamb meals my entire childhood. Now that I'm in my 60's, it's the one meal that takes me back to my childhood faster than any other. Wife's not a big fan though, but I've got a marinade recipe that gives a lamb roast such an authentic, old school flavor that my wife and friends really enjoy. BTW, my kids love it all... and if we ever want to see my kids, all I do is text them that Dad's smokin' a meat this weekend and they'll text me back, "what day/time?"

People who say it is hard to assemble this grill probably did not try to disassemble it and put back to box for return. I spent about 3 hours assembling it kzbin.infoUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . Can't say that instructions were bad - they were totally understandable for me, not harder than assembling IKEA bed, but the whole process is just a little time consuming. When I assembled that I connected it to a new U-Haul tank and there was a huge leak in connection between gas tank and grill. I was able not only feel or hear gas leak, but I was literally able to see this leak because it was huge. I closed gas tank immediately and contacted Amazon for help and they offered either refund or 30% discount. I chose refund and then spent another 3 hours disassembling this grill and then figuring out how to put it back, but it was fun, like some sort of puzzle. UPS picked up grill next day right fromy front door. Next thing I went to Lowe's (I also wanted to make some BBQ on Christmas, so did not had time to wait for replacement from Amazon) to find another grill, but smallest they had was exactly the same model as this one. A guy from Lowe's assured me that thing like this happens rarely so I decided to try again - spent another 3 hours to assemble that (so it totals to 9 hours now) and it worked! Tried to cook some chicken - it was delicious. And because I assembled this grill twice it was easier to clean it since I knew which parts are easy to clean.

Looks good, I'll need to try some. When I was younger, we raised a few, came home one day from school and they were gone. That night my father asked to have Mary Lamb passed to him at the dinner table.. we cried. My reason, maybe the reason for lots of people to shun it, nursery ryme's and children's books just don't show them on the table much.

I totally agree, those who say they don't like lamb need to try them. Costco is the best place for chops and rack of lamb (and boneless leg too) and they are grass fed. I try to keep some of both in the freezer. You are right, they are like little beef T-bone steaks. Over charcoal like you do is the way to go. I season them, then marinate them in a little white wine and olive oil along with some rosemary and mint sprigs from the garden, and then tie the herbs together and use it for a basting brush during the cook with the marinade. Outrageously good! Quick and so delicious. I just did a rack of lamb that way last weekend and now you have me wanting to pull out some chops for this weekend! Thanks for the tzatziki recipe, it looks perfect, and I'll be making it. They of course are also great with a little mint jelly or sauce. BTW, Speaking of lamb, a cold lamb sandwich is insanely good. Anthony Hopkins mentions it in the movie Meet Joe Black. I cook a leg of lamb just to have it cold in sandwiches. Cold, it tastes like the best roast beef sandwich ever, no gamey lamb taste whatsoever. It has a totally different taste cold than hot. Anyone who says they don't like lamb would think the are eating high quality cold roast beef. Try it. Thanks for another awesome video, keep them coming!
