Cada vez que escucho el inicio de esa canción siento algo tan jodidamente bello e indescriptible.

More than any other artist, Grimes makes me realize why pop-ish artist don't play their own instruments. It's not from a lack of talent. It's that their songs are so "fun" and "relatable," that you want the artist to embody this fun and engage with the audience who enjoys the beat just as much. I don't really want to see her messing with the keyboard and the synth sounds at this moment. It take away from the moment--the explosive amount of enjoyment in every lyric. I want her to enjoy it with us. And although I totally commend her talent and her intimacy with the instruments that create these sounds, I want her to participate in enjoying the sounds for what they are in this moment--I don't want her to mess around with the instruments. COME BE WITH US, GRIMES! Dance around, jump, be silly, let go of all inhibitions, and love it without working!!!.

Dude, the coolest thing about her is how she makes music. My favorite performances of her are the ones where I can see her doing what she does best. And she is jumping back to her station at various points, because she needs to. What a weird comment. Like you really don’t want to see her playing her instrument? Just because she’s not Virtuosic at one specific instrument does not mean that she shouldn’t be playing her instruments. She is a brilliant producer and that’s what most of us want to see. It’s what makes her special. We don’t need another cookie cutter pop singer. We’ve got plenty.
