Pinus cembra: Swiss Stone Pine....Anyone else experience table saw envy? 8:22 Ode to The Volunteer Fire Brigade: "Nor will I remind you how often when the midnight bells make you tremble for your combustible town, you have tied to the Town Pump, and found me always at my post, firm amid the confusion, and ready to drain my vital current in your behalf." ~Nathaniel Hawthorne A Rill From the Town Pump

I loved the Bundnersfleisch I had in Switzerland a number of years ago. It’s not cheap but I bought a Kilo to bring home. Unfortunately it was confiscated and destroyed by US dept of Agliculture at JFK!

They allowed me to eat mine instead. Yes, binging at it's best.

gennaterra Very cool! Wish I could have been there for that episode! I guess everyone knows about fondue, racketeering and Rossi but bundnersfleisch is really something special!

Raclette not racketeering for gosh sakes. Who does this autocorrect anyway?!

A homogenous high trust community. Difficult to impossible to have with multiculturalism. Mass immigration will turn Northern Europe into New York. Sweden and London are almost lost forever.

It is exactly like this in Montreal. Where You don't need a quarantine to feel alone and isolated. Just walk dow n a street and not understand a word that is said...along with attitude and disrespect. I just cannot believe places like the ones in this serie...

With respect to old-fashioned customs and today's science, it seems foolish not to wear a respirator or filtered mask with woodworking. It's not coal dust, but it's hardly good for you.
