Nah, Delver is a natural predator of unfair decks. Imo its a 55/45 matchup in Delver's favor due to the sheer amount of relevant interaction that deck can offer. Jamin had a t2 win game 1 assuming ponder after fetch was the same. t1: Fetch -> ponder -> draw fetch, freeze on top. Mengu would see the same hand, with only diff being fetch in the yard. If he doesnt keep up spell pierce, then t2: Fetch -> Breach -> Petal -> Recast petal exiling ponder + 2 fetchs -> Brain freeze for 12 and win from there. Of course this is with the knowledge that mengu doesnt have any interaction in hand, but it shows how powerful and fast storm is that it can win t2 with only 1 piece of fast mana.

I love young pyromancer + cabal therapy. I used to play it in an reanimator shell with unmasks, LEDs and unburial rights + griselbrand. In that deck you even had the fun play of therapy your own grisel. Young pyromancer + Dread return isn't half bad either. Dark ritual, some exhumes. Had burning wishes for some pretty sneaky silver bullets or surprise storm tendrils win. Wouldn't work in today's legacy but it was good enough to take to events in it's day. Delver has it beat by a mile but occasionally you'd rip the unmask T1 grisel and just instantly win through force. Or ritual, thoutseize, reanimate. Or LED into unburial rites. Young pyro was so strong you'd occasionally find yourself just reanimating him and ripping the opponent's hand apart.

The real Breech combo was a UWR deck with Silence and Force of Will backup that formed a one card combo with Intuition. You'd cast Intuition at intant speed for the missing pieces of Underworld Breech, Lion's Eye Diamond, Brain Freeze, and Sevinne's Reclamation. With that on your opponent's turn, it then untaps and wins on the following turn by milling itself, then looping Lighting Bolt to deal lethal, no storm necessary. It could then pivot to Jeskai Mentor(a teir one aggro deck at the time) and completely ignore the graveyard. When I was playtesting my match win rate was a bit over 70%, absolutely unhinged levels powerful.

The voters for this series did not respect deliver nearly enough as an archetype. It's been the best deck in the format for the better part of 12 years for a reason
