I found it strange that Niecy's character and her daughter looks like their in modern day. The nurse looks like she's from the 50's with her hairstyle and clothes. Nurse Redd seems to be an anachronistic addition. She doesn’t fit, and I thought maybe she was not real as well. She was the most “Ryan Murphy” thing about the show, too. The way the lead nurse talked about her husband it was almost like a deity/entity has enter her husband in his coma state. Using him almost like a vessel while he builds up strength maybe? Literally our main protag says I don't feel his soul anymore, he isn't there. It could be taken as insensitive comment, but also a misdirection bc he really ISN'T there and the thing listening to her is the entity. We even know its targeting her now by showing up at her place to fuck with her. I wonder if episode 2 will disprove that xD I love shows that throw your theory out the door and puts you on your toes.

Megan is clearly not as "pure" (for lack of a better term) as you would expect your average nun to be. That much is obvious. But her interactions with and around Father Charlie are something to highlight. When she was talking to Lois about the Burnside murders and she mentioned that she's friends with their priest, she hesitated and stumbled as she said it. I find the difference between Megan's choice of language with Lois vs Charlie very interesting. In the diner, she used the word "Orgasmic" to describe the fries, but then said something about "Holy moly" to describe the drink with Lois at the restaurant. Interesting that she would assign a provocative and erotic word to something as simple as french fries, and do the complete opposite to a cocktail, of all things. When she plucked a fry off of Charlie's plate, a move often seen as flirtatious, and he said "theft is a sin", she still ate that fry, very deliberately. Clearly she lusts after him and she's pushing to see how much she can get away with in regards to him. Something is going happen between them, the trailer tells us as much. I just wonder what it's going to mean.

I think nurse Redd is not real. She looks like she's from the 40's or 50's. I think the killer could be Lous husband Marshall. Even thou he's in a coma. I feel it could be like the movie SAW. Or what if Lois is in a coma herself and is remembering some of her life before she got in a coma. She probably crashed drunk. She probably run over the homeless man . What if Lois was pregnant and lost the baby in the crash. Maybe it was a fiery crash and that s why she has a scar or rash. And so the baby in the pot is significant. Or. It could be father Charlie. He said he has a favorite serial killer AND he was in medical school. So he knows the human body . Also , he was a personal fitness trainer so he is strong enough to fight the men. He also said he wants to cure people of the cancer in they're soul. For now am going to say that Marshall is the killer. Lois is in a coma & Eddie (Ed) Laclan is the Angel of death that is going to take Lois either to heaven or hell.

I wouldn't say she has an eating problem she is just a straight up glutton and is eating like that intentionally to get on a reality tv show about overweight people. The Nun is a field trip. I love her and hope that doesn't change. She comes off demure but once that mouth opens you're like "You sure she's a Nun?" I call her Fun Nun lol. The Father. Priest guy. Idk his role. Ugh, I'm not having fun with this one. It's feeling a lot like the 10 Commandments killer from Hotel/Seven. Ryan Murphy is totally out of ideas, how many demon babies do we need from one man? 😭 I know we haven't seen a demon baby yet but I'm bracing for it. I didn't realize the baby was in the pot either lol. As soon as i saw the priest I was like IT'S LYLE MENENDEZ! 😂 I love the nun, she's a funny girl. Edit: after watching 5&6, I'm convinced Lois is in a coma

Idk why but didn’t like the way they depicted her daughter

Agreed. Another negative trope of a black woman/ overweight ppl in general. She is clearly highly intelligent they could have added more layers to that. Her Goal is to morbidly obese seems insensitive because the actress is physically overweight.

It’s interesting so far. The side stories are kinda boring. Some of the dialogue is cooooornnny! Like why did she start talking about Covid while arguing with the nurse?😂 rolled my eyes.

I love Neicy Nash but not her acting here. She’s delivering her lines so awkwardly! And she’s a bit wooden. I couldn’t bring myself to watch episode 2 but now I will after your review. 😊

Un-house individuals 👀…….. which planet are you from❓What is wrong with - homeless? This where I leave, it’s getting ridiculous with all of these new word- play.

I am so disappointed in this series. It is Asylum and Hotel mixed into an unoriginal story. The main actress is dreadful. I hate to sound really negative but it wasn’t good at all.

Ryan Murphy projects seem like he is past his prime, I get you, other than the staging of the murders I wasn't getting anything out of this, and I was kind of grossed out he had to slip the gay bits in the Menendez series.

The characters are unpleasant. The writing is sub par. The fact that they used both of the tired, used up tropes of Catholic clergy ( either being a quirky out side the box, non traditional believable, or the horrible, perverted believer) in this shows how they are going to deal with the show. There is so much wrong with this show... A detective getting drunk on duty and taking a civilian onto an active crime scene.. a drunk cop discharging her weapon in a neighborhood, and there being nothing said about it... plus much more. This is a bad series so far.

I do agree w you I just so happen to enjoy the show as well. I was like so anyone can just walk into a crime scene?? Coo. Also why is she telling her so much detail about each crime scene??? She told her every detail now to the spices the head was cooked in! That was wild to me.

This show sucks. One of the worst detective shows ever seen. She doesn’t solve anything. Expects daughter and weird nun to solve crimes for her.

The murder scenes reminded me of Hannibal series. But why the daughter got to sit around the house like that. Oh that gross “Tell Them You Love Me!” Nurse Ratchet, she cannot be real.
