Hey everyone it has come to my attention that I'm mispronouncing Grotesquerie 😅 Sometimes I'm able to hide my dyslexia, but this time it got the better of me. I will be correcting this in the next video. Hopefully you can get past it, if not that's cool too. Thank you for the support!

I think it's going to be a "She's the one on life support" situation. The nurse seems like a hallucination of Lois's subconscious. The timeline feels like it's not current day but they mention Covid. Sister Megan having all these answers. And you can hear hospital equipment beeping while it shows the flashback of Lois and her husband.

Yep I totally agree. I think Lois is in the coma because she’s told frequently to wake up by other characters- not least by the victim in the basement found still alive. Also, why haven’t they questioned that person or tried to get information? They’ve been left alive for a reason.

I love how Chavez's height fills the space in the backdrop of the church. From playing a priest for fun to playing a priest on television. Both the actor and the character seem to have a strong blue/throat chakra. I've only seen him snuff the 🕯️🕯️ out, never lighting them. Is that a sign about the darkness? 🤔

Episode 1 Lois has a bedsore but her daughter tells her to put ointment on it and remember when I had that bedsore? Her daughter is not alive I think. When someone was in there house why the daughter run out after? Wouldn’t the person have encountered the daughter in the house?? Also daughter never goes hospital and doesn’t answer the phone but tells her mom to answer. The curtains and house fire, what if Lois got drunk and dropped her lit cigarette and caused her families issues

1. Agreed with you the baby was in the pot because Lois mentioned in episode 1 that the rest family members were shocked to death (but how do you shock a baby to death?), and in episode 2, Lois said the father's head was in the pot. 2. Nurse Redd maybe Lois's imaginary or split personality character since she is always dressed in this 60's fashion style and hairdo, and only appears to interact with Lois, and no one else. 3. Father Charlie is yummy and delicious ❤. I was thinking he maybe the killer but that's just too predictable. 4. Agreed with you this series has the movie Seven vibes. If you think about it, Merritt represents Gluttony sin, and I'm sure she will become one of the victim eventually, that's the purpose of her in the show (my prediction).

I also hate to say it...but if you look in the Mom's mouth...it looks like a baby hand. Even the mom kept saying please please please like how can you do that to the baby.

Probably too early for predictions, but so far I think sister Megan and the priest might have something to do with the killings. The priest was first introduced with a spotlight after sister Megan showed the detective all of her crazy research (that seemed very intentional). Both sister Megan and the priest clearly have a weird thing for each other and both share an interest in serial killers and the killings. Sister Megan and the priest both glamorized the nature of the killings and are both easily able to connect the symbolic nature of the killings to verses in the Bible (almost as if they were the architects). Clearly the church is benefitting greatly from the fear that these killings are spreading. Maybe this is their sick way of living out their dark fantasies while simultaneously gaining power & influence through the church? Lmk what y’all think!

The curtains on fire freaked me out the most. My mother's best friend died in the 80's in an apartment fire. She had a lit candle by an open window and while she slept the curtains caught fire.

Not sure which episode but didn't Megan foam at the mouth and have a seizure when she was supposed to be drying Charlie's back. She ended up out in the hallway falling against a metal railing which could have been when she hurt her face. Seems a weird mimicking of ecstatic state that saints fall into during excessive fasting and meditation.

I liked it. I noticed the wallpaper in Lois' kitchen looks almost exactly like the Nurse's office. So my operating theory is that it's actually Lois in a coma and she's creating most of these characters. I think when we see the man in the background, he actually works in the hospital and Lois is incorporating him into her thoughts.

If I were the detective, I would suspect it was done by a group of 3-5 men at least. I mean, carrying 1 body around usually takes 2 people, and how many of those bodies were in the church? Like, 13? Unless it was done by some comic book supervillain, it is very hard to believe that the criminal works alone. And also you need vehicles to transport those bodies, and 13 bodies probably won't fit in a minivan. So either they loaded those bodies onto separate vehicles, or they have a fricking truck, which wouldn't the least noticeable thing in the world, especially in a small town like this.

The fact they haven’t showed us how he got in that coma & also the fact that the nurse seems to be up to something & know that he’s active. It might be a wild shot. But I think that’ll be the greatest twist & definitely I can see it. It’s cameras all in the rooms like she said, so it’ll be crazy if they showed footage of him moving around when nobody is watching.

This show is geared towards vapid women, the books are so much better. Instead of good writing they throw in shirtless celebs and things that are weird/gross but just don't make sense. The writers just don't explain things and put something shocking right after a huge plot hole like you just forget about it. They are stretching a whole season in something that should have been a three part miniseries. The writers are just awful.

@@laurachristensen3201 a crime show isn't everybody's fav but if you want a show with good writing the only one in the last few years is "The penguin". Trust me. I'm a 42yr old white dude in VA and I graduated college, busted ass, and retired early. Now I devour books and media these days and the penguin is the best show in literally a decade. They twisted this show from the southern gothic in the books to just weird and stupid. The author is amazing check out his story about the outhouse cleaner with the huge dong. He fishes newborns out of the shit, can't get a real hard on cause of his size. It just throws in your face the real world and things that happen all the time, not a whitewashed story. Thats real grotesquerie, when everyday life is a horror show, not some just weird gross shit that you have no idea why its happening in the plot, its just gratatudious BS for low IQ types. It’s definitely going to be a man of God, so many sinners now in our world and hardly no one turning to Jesus our lord, I think the killings are to make people sit up and listen. The priest speaks of the killings as a wake up call, and he hopes it brings more people to church. Addiction is people hurting because of the state of the world. Many addicts are kind, sensitive people and some are not so nice especially when the addiction takes complete hold. However a sober alcoholic with self awareness is usually an awaken soul. I hope Lois gets sober. I also hope this series opens people’s eyes to the corruption and depth of despair we are actually seeing in real life. Thank you 🙏
