Nothing beats a Thai massage! It is like "involuntary" yoga!!

Looks like a few chiropractic moves along with the massage, it should be very helpful. The "fly on the wall" POV was very illustrative. Thanks for posting this.

Oh man, I so want a massage now! Thanks for posting this, I never knew what to think of Thai massages before. Those are some serious moves! Foot & leg massage looked relaxing as well. I could probably spend a day there and end up walking out like a wet noodle ready for a nap. 😂

I love Thai messages. Here in Austin, TX they have a china town ( center more like), they have all the different restaurants, messages and such. Pretty close to what you got (not as cheap though) I'm not a fan of reg messages. Enjoyed the video. I would like to see you try foods/drinks on that street.

That looked wonderful, thank you for sharing! I’m glad to see you can keep your own clothes on as I would feel very uncomfortable changing. The price is insane for an American, I would want to go everyday! Do you also tip? I noticed the poster of drinks behind you in the street, is that something safe for a foreigner to order?
@GroundedLifeRetirementTravel
@GroundedLifeRetirementTravel 6 ай бұрын
Yes Allie gets the drinks quite often, most Americans usually tip 100 from what we see, but could be more or less.

How do know know if its a proper massage place and not a happy ending place that would be my concern in Bangkok. Whats your tip
@Stephanie.444
@Stephanie.444 6 ай бұрын
Can I ask if you tip them and if so, how much? I don't know what the tipping culture is like in Thailand. It's nice that you have the option to not use massage oil. The last place I went would not accommodate that.
@GroundedLifeRetirementTravel

Yes, most Americans we see tip about 100 baht, or $3 per hour.

@Philip_Thornton
@Philip_Thornton 6 ай бұрын
It's painful. I had a leg massage and she digs in deep with her elbow. My wife (Thai) had an all body and she was sore for several days. Neither of us are hurrying back. But we have been told she's very good. 250baht/hr

Any one who says they enjoy a Thai massage have not had a real one. I had a foot massage the other day. 60 minutes of torture but i did feel better after. Sort of. Not hurrying back. Cost me 250 baht.

In US we usually undress… I’m glad you shared this so we wouldn’t offend anyone! Lol Do you stay completely dressed for all massages or just the Thai? Also, do you find massage places in SE Asia typically speak English? I’m about to have full spinal fusion & would probably have to be able to tell them as I wouldn’t be as flexible.
@GroundedLifeRetirementTravel
@GroundedLifeRetirementTravel 6 ай бұрын
Not all speak English, which is what drew us to this one originally, but usually you can tell them what you need pretty easily.
