In 1997 Clint noticed that most people now wear plastic soled shoes that insulate the body from earth. Having a thirty-year working knowledge of grounding communication systems to maintain electrical stability, he wondered if loss of our natural barefoot ground could affect us. The question led to an experiment that suggested grounding alone reduced inflammation and chronic pain. There-after he developed a working hypothesis: grounding the body normalizes the electrical stability and functioning of all body systems.
Clint Ober Book - amzn.to/3KYOTUm
Speaker:
Clint Ober is CEO of Earth FX Inc., a research company ln Palm Springs, California. Over the last 20 years he promoted over two dozen peer reviewed and published research studies demonstrating the biological effects of grounding the body and restoring normal functioning of all body systems.

A huge shout out to Clint for his contribution to the world and my superb health as I have been grounded for over 24 years sleeping on Mr. Ober's grounding pads with an electric wire that I ran outside connected to a tuning fork that I sunk into the ground in the early days and since then sleeping on a grounded sheet on my bed over the last decade or so. I am currently 84 years old. I have no inflammation or chronic pain anywhere in my body. I can outwork people less than half my age all of which I attribute to Clint's discovery of grounding our bodies to the earth. I also go barefoot as often as possible, weather permitting. My understanding is by flooding your body with trillions of electrons daily by being grounded removes all the free radicals (an atom missing its electron) accumulated in your body, thus no inflammation, no pain. I recommend grounding/earthing to anybody in all walks of life who wants a healthy body and mind and will listen to me or go to Clint's website and learn from the man himself.

There might be something in this!! In 2012 I fell 8.5m off a ladder (was a linesman). I almost died 3 times including that fall and in the years since. Once was “Golden Staff”…Staphylococcus Aureus. Once in hospital when in the transition from one pain med to another. I LOVED my job, my Boss, where I lived, the rural town and the folk within in. I was unable to transition to other duties due to the pain. It was that bad I struggled to go to the toilet and when I did I would sweat with anxiety. So my Chronic lower back pain (mainly that area), but mid back as well. Somehow my stupid body would trigger my back muscles to contract and be incredibly tight. ONLY after laying down in bed after a few minutes would these tight muscles relax. When they did I often felt (and heard) a crack - tension release which gave me instant pain relief. This afternoon, while bare foot and on the lawn (both wet and dry), seeding, watering, fertilising, putting liquid wetting agent on some badly neglected lawn areas I felt pain, but not as intense as it normally was. After walking around the house and inside the house afterwards I noticed that I only had fatigue, not massive pain, only mild pain. My back was not tight and I had no release like I normally do after being in bed for a few minutes. That got me thinking….WHY! Then I stumbled across this video by complete chance (I had watched something else and it was just playing the next video)! Talk about amazing coincidence!!! I’m excited to think that I may have found the solution to all my physical, mental, emotional disorders!!

For convenience in winter I keep a piece of slate by my back door. Every morning when the snow is deep, I place my slate on top of the snow and stand on it. Just a few min. makes all the difference. I'm 71, and have no inflammation in my body. Admittedly I have done this practice all my life, not knowing the science behind it. Barefoot gardening has been my passion most all my life. Napping on the ground is fantastic.

After using the grounding mats from Clint Ober's site for about a month, now she's strong enough to open her own jars, work out & has no pain. I can't explain how it works but I know it works!!! I recently posted a video of her doing push-up's with Chef Babette. Thank God for Clint's ingenious invention for indoor grounding. Peace, love & blessings ✌🏾❤️🙏🏾

Grounding in horse manure is EXTREMELY powerful. I was a very unhappy child and cried myself to sleep every night of my childhood. Some nights I couldn’t control the crying and catch my breath. I didn’t know what depression was at the time. All I knew was I felt better when I was raking the horse corrals. So I would sneak out of the miserable house at night and go walk bare foot in the horse manure piles and suddenly the sadness would lift from my heart. I lived with very primitive people and I was far more intelligent than the adults around me. They lived on soda pop and red meat. They made fun of me because I drank water straight from the tap and I walked in the horse manure. They all have chronic conditions now and I do not. All my siblings have oral health issues and I do not. I swear it was the pure water and the soaking my feet in the alfalfa manure!

In 2001 I developed a condition called Arachnoiditis which has slowly taken away my ability to walk without a walker or need a wheelchair whenever I'm out and about. I'm definitely going to get grounded! Not expecting miracles but any sort of relief or improvement would be incredible. Thanks for the info Clint!

Thank you Clint! Two things don’t make sense to me: 1) Grounding your bed. A) It got to be a metal bed frame, because wood have very little conductivity. But even with the metal frame bed, you laying down on the mattress and sheets and pillow, all of them isolate you from grounding, since they have very low conductivity. 2) many Birds do not stay on the ground, they usually sit on tree branches, which have very low conductivity.
@jasonneubauer3581
@jasonneubauer3581 9 ай бұрын
There is many videos of how to ground a bed. It doesn't deal with the frame of the bed. OR just buy a grouding mat. A lot easier. yes low conductivity but they are also small creatures
@PassionatLee
@PassionatLee 6 ай бұрын
*Hi Gene* 😊 1... Correct Wood is not conductive. To be grounded in bed you have to have a mat underneath your body which is connected either to an earth stake outside the house or if the house is wired in the correct manner and tested first, you can ground the mat to the Earth section of your power point and the power point should be turned off whilst grounding. 2 ... Apparently Trees are like big Antenna's with lots of electrons flowing from it's trunk and branches, I'm guessing this is why birds do get grounded in a different way to how we usually would. [Us being ground dwelling creatures] Does this help? I've heard Clint and others mention these things as well as read them whilst doing study on the subject. :)

If you have any question about whether you are grounding or not, just test with a multimeter. I tested my whole house, before I made my own grounding pads, and I found that my stove handle was the best place to ground. I learned of earthing too late to help my parents. My Dad LOVED to sit in the sun, sometimes with pants down. He was dead set on drugs and doctors, but I bet I could have gotten him to take his shoes off when he did that. Now I sit with patients all day. Eyes, ears and hands for the nurse when another is needed. I have tapped into a sixth sense I didn't know I had. After some faltering efforts at sharing earthing with patients, while also being new to the job, I soon started to calm and know who I could talk to and who I can't. Now I am more confident. I also learned of a garden the hospital has and I tell patients about it to ask their nurse to take them to it. I can talk to way more people than not and most ages 30 and up. It seems kids can't be bothered.

I love Clint’s work and it really resonates with me as a Taurean Earth sign! After my Dad passed many years ago, my world felt like it had been turned upside down. I used to go to the park and lie on the grass under a tree, every day for about a month. By grounding myself (which I had no idea about at the time) it enabled me to function and to grieve and re-start my life. After watching the Earthing movie I sleep on a grounding sheet and touch the Earth when I’m out in nature walking my dog. I feel incredibly healthy and happy and never have any physical complaints. I bought a sheet for my Mum and it definitely helped her sleep. Now I tell anyone who’ll listen to me about this….. it just makes perfect sense. The Earth is part of who we are and how we function. Thankyou Clint… what a wonderful man!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏

I love this analogy, the grounding makes sence too, just like we can get electric shock from touching our car, the car needs grounding, logical - and i guess we humans need grounding too :)

@Aaron, how refreshing to see a Dr. interested in anything different than what they learned in school. We had two different docs (one was exclusively a cancer doc)one laughed the other told us it's impossible & you shouldn't use it-re: the use of Nacsent Iodine on skin cancerous lesions (after my dad chemo & radiation lesions would breakout on his head growing up to 1 1/2 inches long til I begged him to try Nascent iodine) They all completely disappeared w/in few days. If something works that you didn't learn in school, shouldn't one @ least want to listen, look into it especially when lesions are disappearing?

This perfect love will cast out the fear and you will not have a cortisol Rush. The only way back to the father is through his son Jesus Christ who paid the price for our salvation. We went ent everywhere barefoot and we where healthy and happy even when we bled from the wear and scrapes, we dislike shoes , one time a neighborhood bully picked on me while walking to school before I defended myself I took my shoes off first then he apologized to my surprise and became everyone’s friend . Also I noticed Buddhist monks all go barefoot and sometimes just sandals , they go on alms round barefoot as well walking the countryside and Forrest in Thailand, USA and all countries in the world . I stumbled across this gentleman a couple of weeks ago. I was very intrigued by his talk of Earthing and Inflammation. I had recently been discharged from hospital after an severe infection related to Inflammation, IBD....lnflammatory Bowel Disease. I have been walking in the garden, bare foot as often as possible. But what took me by surprise was during this talk Clint Ober answered a question that had puzzled me for 40 years. In my twenties l sent a tremendous amount of time in Cornwall. On one occasion, the day before we were to go back home to the North of England l lay on a headland close to the North Cornwall Coastal footpath. I was on my back and lay there for about 45 minutes. I have never felt so relaxed, at ease, even happy / content. I believed that l was ontop of an energy, ley(?) line but now suspect l was Earthing, Grounding. I am loving this practice and also realise the lift you get from gardening, isn't it the same or very similar. 😊

I just came onto this is chemistry teacher I am very familiar with the Electron. If anyone tells the power of it, remember it is the thing that keeps your heart beating! I have also felt that patterns and rhythms exist in nature. I have always thought that chemistry, including bio chemistry is basically the study of charges, did you ever wonder where that little car whip comes from in your house and there’s no bug it. It is the electrical charges attracting other electrical charges in particles. I particularly liked the reference to the Native Americans and how they would sit on the ground. I have been hunting and fishing many many years, and I always felt revived doing things close to the Earth, as so many others have ramps. This is new understanding I am going to explore.

I just ran across something about grounding several months ago and so looked it up on-line and got a little of the basic benefits. I live in a rural area on a little half acre outside of Louisville, KY, and run outside every day possible (even lately when the sun has been shining on the ground and is warm enough to stand on barefoot, even if only for a few minutes). . . I figured if nothing else it gave me a few minutes to unwind and enjoy letting my dogs run around and start planning what to plant where in Spring. It definitely helps me distress somewhat .. will be doing more outside longer and have bought a sheet to try sleeping on (not real sure about the company I bought from and just had your video pop-up in my feed tonight). I am fairly intelligent and know about electrical grounding and so this all makes sense but am so glad to get to hear information straight from you so I can share intelligently!
