Just use paper towel or a napkin. Instead of rolling it up, fold it in half once. Mist with water until *slightly* damp. Then place in a ziplock bag. You don’t have to seal the bag. Place in a shoebox or drawer, at room temperature. Check daily to make sure the paper towel stays moist. When they germinate, it’ll be so much easier to remove and separate. If you wait too long and the roots are longer you can rip around the root, and plant with the paper towel still attached.

Roots are getting damaged where 8t plays a vital role in plant development. It would be better to use tissues and at store in air tight containers and then pit it back to soil. Just my opinion as am doing so.

Let me tell u one thing , i planted so many seeds of corriander in a pot , i watered it daily for 1 month nothing happened and when it rained after 2 months i saw small sprouts of cilantro 😂 , they grew without my care , lol its called a surprise

Put some rooting powder in a long glass with some water. Take your cutting of choice, and cut the stem diagonally. Then shave some stem off and put cutting into glass of water you mixed with root hormone. Change water 3 times a week, and keep in glass for at least a month. Keep only 2 leaves too!

I am at a loss to understand, that a small packet of Coriander seeds costs Rs 20 and the bunch of coriander you produce will cost Rs 10 only in the vegetable market. Then why to take pains planting it at home.

Good observation point. But, the fresh coriander fro market last about 4 days and then you throw the whole bunch out even if you used 20% of it. Growing coriander, you get fresh one everyday and you pluck only as much as required.
