Enfin, j’ai trouvé l’information que je cherchais depuis très longtemps! Vous semblez connaître très bien la culture des Hoya. J’en suis très contente et je vais m’abonner à votre site. Merci!

I'm so happy to have found your channel. Your content is always complete and your explanations are so easy to understand (I'm french native so it can sometimes be hard for me). I am new to lechuza pon and I have watched many of your videos. They provided me all the infos and my hoyas are thriving now. You deserve more followers!

I love that you have enough hoyas of the same species that you can do controlled experiments with different specimens of the same species.

@@edwinysun I’m glad you enjoyed the video! When I was researching for grow light info last year, I wanted to see the result of different grow lights on Hoyas. That’s why I added the “experiment result” of mine 😊

That Walliniana is sun stress not burnt! I have both variegated and non-variegated. The purple stress is dark and intense, but a 1000 less lumens would produce bright pink on it. When I moved my dark stressed plant away from high light the dark purple did in fact fade. 😊

Very informative video as always Fonnie! I'm interested in splashing effects under lights. What is your experience? I guess this is quite a controversial topic for hoyas too
@tfyfonnie2 жыл бұрын
Thank you😊🌱 I don’t have many splashy Hoyas🙈 what is your experience with splashy Hoyas - higher light higher splashiness?😲

Fonnie, can you give an idea of the best PPFD value for growing Hoyas? Something between bleaching and not flowering much
@tfyfonnie Жыл бұрын
Hi! It’s hard to specify the ppfd, but I think if we take Spiderfarmer for an example, Spiderfarmer level ppfd could bleach Hoyas if you have it on for 12-14 hours. Since it cannot be adjusted, I have limited the light on hours to 8-10 hours by turning it on from 7am - 6/8pm and off during 11am-4pm/5pm. Hope this helps!😊

@@tfyfonnie I just set up barrina t-5, three of them, that give me about 200 ppfd ( I have a par meter). I’m not interested in sunstressing so much because I like the greener leaves but I’d like to see flowers!

I just use ordinary LED lights from Ikea ( 6-15 w), which are not worse than the expensive grow lights. My 100+ hoyas thrive happily. So do not waste money.
