I'm the youngest, David's the oldest, and though our childhoods were different and our parents grew up with us, it was the intention of family dinner that glued us all together.
If you bake it, THEY WILL COME!

I love Drink Therapy! I look forward too it now, and this one was the best yet. You two brought a tear to my eye. So much wisdom learned from experience right there in this 11 minutes. Every parent or grandparent who watches this is going to be inspired to try a little harder, and be a little better at making those moments around the table. I used to sometimes grudgingly make dinner like it was a chore. Now that I’m an empty nester I realize I love making good dinners, it was just so hard juggling homework, taxiing the kids around to activities, and trying to make meals at the same time back in those days. But you know what? It doesn’t have to be perfect. It can even be Mac ‘n Cheese 😆 and the effort you put into bringing your family together will be worth it in the long run.

Absolutely! Love this! Most importantly, we prioritize the people around the table with us because these moments are really a short part of our day. Mac'n Cheese is often a favorite here too!

I agree with you David. I'm second oldest of 10. My mom was pregnant at my wedding, it was a surprise. I helped raise all of those kids. It wasn't easy but I learned a lot. Great to here from both of you on this topic. It's a dear one to me.

Oh my gosh! This made me laugh! My 52 year old still complains that he baby of the family- 41, got to go to mcd’s all the time!!! My answer is he wanted to be first and pushed everyone out of the way! He wanted to be #1! However he and my daughter are very close. There are 3 more added to the group of kiddos. But this always makes me laugh! Thanks for sharing! ❤️❤️
