Excellent! Congratulations! You just started a wonderful journey! Sourdough is so fun, and when you need a break, you just put it into your fridge for a bit until your're ready to come back to a project. Feed daily for very mild starter, weekly for a little more tangy, and monthly feedings to wake it up for projects that are extra sour. Excited for you!

You can still bake them on a cookie sheet for now until our baguette pans are completed. 😊❤️

my dough was still sticky after 4.5 cups of flour....do I keep adding?

Remember that in the kneading step, it will be easier to work with once you add some flour to the board. It's okay to lock the stickiness inside. Every climate is a little different and you'll get very good at "feeling" how the dough should be. Go to the kneading step and work quickly. Don't over-add though. :D
