As a born Jamerican 🇺🇸 🇯🇲 I can relate! I was called a “Yankee” by my aunts/uncles and “Dread” by my friends at school. I can laugh now but if I’m honest, it hurt my feelings. It made me feel like I didn’t belong on either side. Now, I’m so happy to have the best of both worlds!!! The truth is we’re AFRICANS and we cannot run from that fact! Bravo, Tracey!!! 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾
