This Pineapple Skin Tea is great for easing inflammation related symptoms. I recently pulled my hamstring during a sprint and the entire area behind my thigh was inflamed. I immediately started thinking of natural remedies that could help reduce the inflammation and this tea came to mind. Of course I went shopping after applying ice and compression to the affected area.
Fast forward a couple hours and I ended up with my leg elevated, AC on, Netflix on, and hot drink in hand. Ahhhhh... that warm feeling you get from the ginger hitting the back of your throat. The sweet taste of the agave coupled with the tangy-sweet taste of the pineapple peel. I was living my best life and I felt way better. Then the bitter after taste of the dreaded lime came along. I immediately started wishing I used lemons instead.
Use lemons rather than limes and you'll enjoy this recipe even more. Thanks for watching this video and for reading my brief story. Hamstring feels better, but I guess I'll be gaining some weight since this guy can't run for the next few weeks or months 🤷🏿‍♂️ Please don't forget to subscribe to Grubanny and don't forget to touch that like button.

Just made this now with 2 pineapple skins and used Lemons instead of Limes. Came out fantastic and we canned up 15 pints of it to save for later when someone is sick or has a sore throat. I still have 4 more pineapple skins to think about doing something else with. For now, they are in a ziplock bag in the freezer. Thank you for this recipe.

Yes, I came to that same conclusion. The lime is bitter, and I would rather use lemons to bypass it. I don't think that the limes that they sell in the stores are good limes. They get hard very quickly. So, I need to grow myself a lime tree, lol.

It would be nice to own a lime tree. I put my limes in the part of the fridge with adjustable humidity control. I find that low humidity keeps them fresh and plump.

I'm aware of that... I deleted the part were I spoke about it. If you watched the previous upload, you'd have heard me mention it. I couldn't find key limes this time around. This is now considered a vegan recipe, so it's all good.

Where are pineapples considered acid instead of alkaline? I have acidic hormones due to decades of sleep deprivation (special needs children) and pineapple smoothies or juice calms my inflammation
