⁠@@katigrace25Dejan is pronounced just as it is written, Dejan. Serbian (Serbo-Croat language, if we want to be fair) is completely phonetic, you just need to know how each of the 30 letters is prononced, and you can read without a mistake. Dan is short for English speakers mostly, I think, here he would have different nicknames. Allana, how great of you to wish to learn the language. ❤❤❤

The way you talk about the olds towns reminds me of how I felt in Rab! It’s an island in Croatia and the most beauuuuuutiful old town. Lots of cool boat tours, artist studios and galleries, there is a long promenade on the edge of the old town where locals go to swim and relax. Truly a fairytale feeling

I think I loved Kotor the most, just such a beautiful old town. My kids loved the cat museum, and all the cute cat souvenirs. The olive trees are so beautiful, we saw the "oldest" tree in Bar. Tradition was when you get married you plant an olive tree. Maybe you and Dejan should plant one while you're there❤️

Allana, welcome to Belgrade 😊 I've come to Belgrade over two years ago, and hope you are enjoying the city! I recommend to go to Zemun, it's a bit like alike a different world with the Austrian influence visible everywhere. Climb the Gardoš tower and enjoy the view to Stari Grad and over the Danube. I also recommend to go down to the quay later and visit one of the fish restaurants 💙 One of my favourite restaurants is Durmitor in New Belgrade, traditional Serbian food. Also don't forgot to visit Sveti Sava, it's beautiful. And if you feel like a sweet snack from the supermarket: Plasma Kozka is a must try, it's the standard pressie I give people back home and everyone loves it 😊

Word on the street is that local authorities in Budva demanded unconditional public access to the beaches. So Adriatic Properties and Aman Resorts closed their doors before the 2021 season because they said they could no longer guarantee the privacy of their guests on the beaches they rented next to the hotels. Now there’s a huge lawsuit going on. Not sure if they will re-open.

Smashbox stay in place. I’m oily lid girlie too. Between the sticks? I’d say they’re both the same. The new Fenty sticks are drier and they don’t move at all on the lids. Good for oily girls.
