I’m not sure if this was intentional, but at 11:46 (the final fallback) after the exit seals itself up, the twins seem to be breathing quicker than the others, as if they were beginning to panic. specifically, lumine’s chest visibly puffs in and out a lot faster, while aether’s shoulders rise and fall. although aether isn’t breathing as fast as lumine is, his eyes are rapidly darting from left to right instead of lumine’s head turns. it also doesn’t help that the atmosphere and the camera panning a few seconds later is reminiscent of the 2.7 chasm interlude quest cutscene.
