A bit more context - I didn't do any driving in the first test session due to red flags, so a lot of drivers were 'up to speed' & I most certainly wasn't, haha. The laps you see in this video are my first, so understandably quite a way under the limit, also on used tyres with a lot of fuel. You have to leave more margin at this track compared to others.

love the helmet cam, its actually in a good position as well usually people will mount a cam under their helmet and you cant see anything the driver can see but this is perfect. Keep up the great driving

I was right by the track one evening and would here cars doing their practice runs. I felt the roar of the engines in my chest! I have ridden that track many times on my bike when it was open to the public last year. It was fast, so I can imagine the rush you guys felt driving at your speeds!

incredible footage and driving man! I am so jealous. Some advice. Turn down your microphone input, its getting clipped you will get better quality sound then. Then it would be awesome to get a less blown out and blurry footage, something with higher framerate and 4k would be great. Perhaps gopro filming in RAW would help.

Looks like a Cambox V3+/V4. I have a V4 and you have to turn it down to 1080p30 if you don't want it to overheat and mics are just like that. They are working on these issues (battery life, overheating, etc...). They most likely can't use GoPros because it becomes a potentially harmful protrusion on the helmet in case of a crash while this is in your helmet behind the visor.

@Jaaames that's unfortunate but you guys still pulled a podium out so still a great weekend. By the way, the new IMSA DLC for Automobilista 2 is out which includes the Oreca and Ligier LMP2s and a couple more LMDh cars as well as a couple more GT3 gen 2s. Then there was a separate one specifically for the Lambo LMDh and Huracan Evo 2. Edit: also it has the beta for the LFM implementation for multiplayer racing so that should help with races against others and of course they updated the physics, handling, and tire models to get more accurate and less slidey than before as I understand it.

Sometimes the wheel is offset, it’s not meant to be like that, but yeah doesn’t make any difference to be honest. You soon forget about it when you’re driving
