I think GTA V did plenty of things in better direction, tho the downside is that GTA V feels more shallow and empty in some places, especially the commentary you see in ingame radio/tv and so on. Also, there is a lot of lying and a fabricated realities here. You can take the news,social media, culture & education system as an example. 75% of all of that stuff is fabricated BS. I think Metal Gear olid 2 talks about this, so much of what is believed to be fact or 'reality' in our society is BS, our culture is also sort of based on it. A lot of it stems from the fact that most of our culture has to be imported from the UK to keep us grounded from being influnced by our outside heavily outnumber Spanish speaking neighbors , but our puritan foundings still influence the reinterpration of it with their own spin to keep their conglomeretes happy. This is why our reboots of UK shows come out werid af and are zanny with so much political BS, to keep all sides happy.. or why there is still a country hic* influence still is still alive(chav conservatism). This is why Japanese shows and culture are hitting the millenial generation so deep because it's un filtered and there is no reinterpration and are sharing experiences of Post industrialism that the Boomers never wanted to address. But yeah, i sense a huge emigration from US coming in the next 20 years. Many German/Polish/Irish Americans i know are starting to get their dual citizenship(by descent) and are prepping. But phuc* we are at the point where little kids are being pushed to trade NFT's , because of Robin hood. Banks are banking on the Metaverse real estate ( virtual reality land being bought up for like $100K). You can't even buy a house w/o a shady loan(same ones used in recesssion of 08). Stendt Debt is now avering $50,000 USD. I can go on and on.. Maybe 50 years from now, there will be a game , where you play as a US immigrant in Poland talking to a Canadian immigrant and the dialogue of the US immigrant goes like this: Ilene Faustin: I never quite knew what it was. So many years I wondered what it was, or what was wrong with me that I did not see it in him, or I changed him. Nick Bellichick: Life is complicated. I... I never thought I'd live like this. Ilene Faustin: : No? Nick Bellichick: When the war came, I did bad things, but after the war I thought nothing of doing bad things. I killed people, smuggled people, sold people. Ilene Faustin: And you don't worry about your health? Nick Bellichick: After you walk into a town and you see 50 children, all sitting neatly in a row, against a church wall, each with their throats cut and their hands chopped off, you realize that the creature that could do this doesn't have a soul. Ilene Faustin: God is very complicated. You mustn't give up hope. Nick Bellichick: Well, I don't know about that.

The point is actually not creating unrealistic illusions/expectations, a new country could mean a new start, but the change will ultimately depend on you. It is likely that that a new society and new values will help you to find a better version of yourself, but of course not all problems will automatically be solved if you yourself don't have the true intention to do so.

Although I was too young when GTA IV originally released, I played it around the time GTA V released, which I also played. GTA IV is not only my favorite GTA game, but one of my favorite games of all time. Niko is one of the best and most underrated protagonists I've seen in gaming. His character, which had amazing development and backstory, was serious yet had perfect moments of both adult and childish hilarity, much like the game itself. For years now, I have always thought GTA V was overrated. Sure, it was a fun game and bettered upon some elements from IV, but I've always found myself going back and bingeing on gameplay and lore from IV. Glad to see this video came across our respective recommended feeds at the same time. I'm always happy when this game and/or its characters get the recognition they deserve, especially as time goes on! Although this video is seven years old, this comment section being littered with new comments about how much people love this game and Niko makes me happy! @ArturKwaszyn2 жыл бұрын
Once you do get the hang of it, you'll notice that GTA IV physics are actually superior to anything GTA has ever had. It's the most realistic physics engine ever. And the most enjoyable one too, if you learn the ropes. IV is truly a masterpiece, the best game in the series, period. Perhaps even the most underrated one. People always talk about SA, Vice City, kids are playing the V, but IV? It's kind of in the shadows. That's quite unfair, in my opinion.

Somehow, as an adult, I enjoyed IV the most.
@PolishGod12342 жыл бұрын
@@ArturKwaszyn well, i didn't really played it in my childhood. I think the first time i ever started playing San Andreas was in 2019. And it quickly became one of my top 5 favourite games - story, radio stations (especialy K-dst) characters, the map with huge variety of terrain and 3 awesome cities, mission variety and replayability, the outstanding vibe of 90s - eapecialy when you play on PS2 with that organge filter, and the game itself for some reason has a lot of charm which draws players back to it. I'm playing Definitive edition now - and while it has some minor bugs and it could have been done better - it's pretty good. I also played Vice City - and loved ut for 80s setting and radio stations (the game didn't age too well though), and also played GTA V like month before starting SA - it was good but the story could be better.
