there’s a couple possible explanations that helps with this one, 1: both penguin and lady arkham think of bruce as a corrupt playboy, and wouldn’t in their wildest dreams think of bruce as a hero. 2: he thought batman was on bruce’s pay roll. 3: since wayne makes tech for the gcpd, it makes sense they would keep the batman tech a secret as it would make it a target if it was known where batman got his tech

Nope, Ventriloquist is very much a villain. Arnold seems to more project negative emotions through Scarface, as we see that Scarface/Socko is violent and defensive of Arnold. With Scarface being the “real” bad guy, he in a way allows Arnold to express himself in ways that he himself wouldn’t normally do. Perhaps it’s even been so long, he truly believes Scarface is a separate entity.

Other than the more-than-obvious glitches that were going on in the game, I'd say it was still an interesting chapter; particularly with the appearance of Joker as a former denizen of Arkham Asylum, as well as (as you pointed out) Batman's awesome detective skills that he is known for. I do believe a majority of the patients will eventually become iconic villains in the future, most notably Arnold Wesker; who, if you watched the old animated series from the 90s, goes on to become the Ventriloquist. The man who becomes a lackey to his own puppet alter ego, Scarface. ((lol, looks like his humble beginnings started as a sock-puppet before he's upgraded to the stereotypical wooden gangster. XDD)) The guy who played the Joker for this one wasn't too bad. He at least carried him out in that Dodge-esque character type where he's got the "street-smarts" to run the place like a mad drifter. I think some of the origin stories of Joker usually play out that he was the grunt of a gang who eventually got hit with a toxic chemical that gave him his green hair, sallow skin, and creepy smile. Although he was already insane to begin with, the chemical just help brought that out like a 100 times fold so that he was no longer inhibited. And I feel that your theory may possibly be right about him influencing Lady Arkham. Even if he wasn't technically pulling the strings in all of this, there's the strong possibility that he was the one that gave her the nudge to go through with her desire of revenge. And that seems like the kind of thing he would do to entertain himself with the chaos that ensues the city. That's pretty awesome that people like Troy Baker got in touch with you through Twitter; though not surprising since you're honestly one of the most entertaining LPs worth watching. ^^ And I definitely think it was a very logical decision to take care of Penguin, since he would have probably made it difficult for you to take on Two-Face in battle with your equipment under his control. Also it was a nice touch in showing why he now has an evident limp that requires the use of a cane, making him more "penguin-like." I really hope Alfred's okay, and that Catwoman will have change of heart and come back to help you....before leaving again (like any normal street cat, lol) in the final chapter. I'm really digging this series and hope that they will round it up in a nice neat package that will be satisfying.

I'll admit that I was a little wary of the Joker being in this (he was already in "Asylum," "City" and "Origins" after all) and I grew tired of his presence. Considering there were so many other villains in the Batman universe, you'd think people would try some other rogues. This game, however, does a good job about regulating his character to a cameo (as far as this episode goes, anyway). Can't wait for the next entry.
