Highly suggest watching the MCU (movies) in release order before you decide to watch any more, or you'll be lost and miss out on a lot of context on later entries. Start with Iron Man (2008) and go from there. And don't forget to watch the scenes before, during, and after the end credits. Sounds like you watched one of the Avengers movies and probably didn't understand most of it. Treat Marvel Studios movies like a TV series. You need to watch it in order like episodes of a TV show. Each Avengers movie is like a season finale.

Here are some fun facts you should know about the characters. Rocket raccoon is smart as or if not smarter than Tony Stark. The characters are stronger in the comic books. For example gamora's at least 2 to 3 times stronger than Captain America during the winter soldier movie. Drax 5 times stronger than Gamora which seem like nothing compared to the main villain Ronan who was already equal to Thor strength wise and with the infinity stone he became equals with hulk. Also Groot did die and the stick in the planters pot is Groot son.

why go into Guardians without watching the rest of the MCU? ok..GOTG is Phase 2 of MCU..you should have start with Phase 1 with Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, and The Avengers..then Phase 2 with Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: Winter Soldier, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, Avengers: Age Of Ultron, then Ant-Man.. you're gonna get confused of some things here and the next without those movies..go with the release order..once you go into Iron Man 1, i'll then subscribe..

Love this movie, one of my favorite in the marvel series. It'd be really awesome to see you guys go back to the start of the Marvel cinematic universe and react to them all. It's a lot of movies but there's some seriously great movies in the line up. There's some mid ones too but as a whole, it's pretty crazy seeing how they link them all together eventually. It'd probably get a lot more eyes on your channel too, You two definitely deserve it! You two are awesome, looking forward to seeing if you continue in the marvel verse.

Of all the movies to watch out of order, this is probably the one that matters least, since it doesn't really make reference to any of the other MCU movies that came before it. How does someone who left Earth at 10 years old know who Jackson Pollock is? How do aliens who have never been to Earth understand the "Jackson Pollock painting" reference?

The Guardians of the Galaxy were not well-known - even to Marvel comics fans. Not merely second-string characters, but more like nineth-string characters. It seemed very odd to me and other comics readers that they would make this movie, when there are so many more prominent Marvel characters that haven't had movies. I thought it was a stupid decision, but they didn't consult me, and it turned out to be really good!

This is the movie that got me interested in the Marvel movies. I always enjoyed the Spiderman movies, but I never cared for the other movies such as Iron Man, Thor, Capt. America. This just happened to be on tv and I turned it on expecting it to just play in the background and before I knew it, I was sucked in. I went on to watch Infinity War. After that I went back and watched Civil War and Thor Ragnarok, both were really good.
