Its fake because Ramsay was NOT told to cook the steaks on a charcoal grill, thus the experiment is already biased by CHOOSING taste testers who prefer charcoal grilling and ONE of them gives that away in all honesty after the 2nd taste, saying "......Its missing charcoal...." Means no matter what, HIS choice would be charcoal flavor amongst all others, BUT he did not have opportunity to taste Gordon's steak, cooked by Gorden, on a charcoal grill.

Honest feedback here - good video and I'm always a fan of the channel. I watch at least most episodes that hit and have tried my share of the recipes. I honestly don't like how there have been several videos where the headline implies that he's up against Gordon Ramsay and each time it's just a solo video. Really not a huge deal but it's one of those things KZbinrs do that I think a lot of people aren't huge fans of. Otherwise good content as always

@AngrySmasher9 ай бұрын
@sirlost94 not to be difficult or pushy but I don't believe that. This is a case of them both having too much to lose. If Guga were to lose a cook-off to Gordon then he'd lose massive credibility as KZbin's steak guy, and if Gordon lost a cook-off to Guga then Gordon, being one of the most well known chefs in our culture, just lost a cook-off to a KZbinr. Behind the scenes they are both aware of this so I don't think either is really willing to do any direct competing or any content that had one coming out ahead of the other. Maybe a team up where they're friendly at best and there's a convenient tie at the end or something at very best

IDK if you have a Publix anywhere near you, but I find VERY nice choice cuts there all the time. I think the actual challenge, if it happens, should involve the same cut of meat, and be pre-determined if grilled or cooktop. Both chefs have to have these things in common before beginning. Have Ethan C. set up the rules of play, and have him one of a panel of judges that aren't related to either chef and who have experience with steak, themselves. Maybe the side should be steak fries? (But to be determined). Seaonings and sauces etc up to the chefs.

It is not a Fair competition if you tell people what they have to cook cook on or what the recipe ingredients are. Hey Guga! Will all due respect, you can not call this video a “Challenge”, and here’s why: you are deliberately trying to make your version of a steak dinner more impressive looking in every way then Gordon’s, giving it all you’ve got. In the meantime, you are taking a good half a day to do so. But you forget to mention that Gordon’s video was called literally “Gordon Ramsay Cooks Up a Simple Steak Dinner with Fries!”. A Simple steak dinner! And he took like literally 12 minutes to cook it, not 4 hours! The real challenge would be yourself and Gordon cook the same style of a steak dinner, simple or elaborate - I don’t care - and also timing your efforts. Because this is where a good chef will shine - efficiency. Let’s go Guga! Can’t wait!

since chef Ramsey is not here, yeah the challenge part is def for the clicks.
