Guide to a NEW Hemo PvP Spec for Rogues Classic WoW

Hey, guys, I wanted to make a quick video on a new PvP spec that I came up with. It's very similar to the normal Hemo Spec, but has more versatility at the expense of burst. No matter what, I hope you guys enjoyed the video!

a little confused about ghostly strike. I was under the impression that was strictly pve? Who would you use it on in PVP? Hunter pets?

Ghostly strike isn't used in pve ever. Its a pvp tool for when you're against melee classes and gives you 15% more dodge. Pretty clutch

Dude I need to know. For mainhand should I go for highest dps sword or one with highest top end? I'm trying to figure out between grand marshal sword or AQ ripper . The GM sword has higher dps but lower top end and higher low end and the AQ ripper has slightly less dps but higher top end and lower low end. Anyone respond please ♡

Just looking at this, it sure seems like a great spec when you're not on targets long enough to worry about eviscerating. Definitely like the control. Do you still respec for raids?

Ya, nothing can compete with combat spec for pve unfortunately so I do respect twice each week. Also, even when I 1v1, I typically do enough damage and don't rely on eviscerate to crit in order to kill people, but that's why gear is so important for this spec specifically

@@RenonTTV i mean i have blue rank8 gear with 2x Dal Rend . Without Amy Exposé Armor i do much more damage on Plate warris . U would do so much more damage without that Dodge /Parry Skill . Just put Points in 3/3 Eviscerate and 5/5 Lethality. My hemos Just Crit about 500 on Plate Warriors. Trust me These Dodge Parry Talents are wasted points. I mean u just got evasion and ghostly Strike which are 65% Dodge anyway. Improved Sprint ist also wasted Talents Points . ITS Just good against mages . But U can kill mages anyway without that . Just vanish Nova and blind to make him iceblock.

The healthbar that shows up above their head that has the combo points is Threat Plates I'm pretty sure. The combo points above their actual nameplate is Nug combo points

Spec could be ok if 7 talent points weren't wasted for party/Dodge

Trust, dodging and parrying is definitely noticeable, helps when out of stealth fighting

@@RenonTTV yeah, but there is another class for these type of things called warrior lol. For rogue Parry Dodge is clearly not a priority if not a waste even. The problem with this spec is that it's illogical for the rogue: 1)you don't need riposte against any physical dps class since you already have evasion (50%) + ghostly strike + character evasion which is already ~100% evasion chance. + More and more people are getting weapon chains or gloves to counter disarm. Also proc chance disarm doesn't fit rogue toolkit. You will not be able to utilize riposte against good players and bad players you can kill anyway. 2)If you want to kill mages more easily just go daggers - heavier burst + easier access to imp Sprint. However even as hemo with all CDs ready mages are not a problem especially if you have stuff like spider belt or helm ready. And if not I just fap or leave them alone. Spec is not terrible obviously but it's definitely worse than orthodox coldblood hemo or imp Sprint daggers because of 7 point wasted. I myself play an offbeat spec too - 21-0-30 with 5/5 deadliness and no imp gouge just because I love having 930 AP unbuffed and 1300 AP with bloodfury. So yeah Maybe it's not the best but hey play whatever you like

@@asfasdfsd8476 warrior doesn't fully have this play style. High dodge and parry is a rogue thing. In terms of this spec, while riposte can be niche, it does high damage, low energy cost so even if i don't get the disarm, its still nice. Also, while you do say we have evasion, this does leave you open to overpower, parry has no weakness Also, in terms of having these abilities, against good players, i can easily crap on em with good rng thats in my favor with parry and dodge. And against bad players, the only way I lose is bad rng aka getting sword spec + hoj bursted instantly, which isn't gonna happen as often as this spec as I can dodge or parry these attacks. I have higher chance to avoid terrible rng. Also, if you play daggers, you'll know that tanky classes are a BITCH to deal with as your high energy and burst is heavily negated by high physical reduction. So while daggers can kill mages, they will get shit on by good warriors. Meanwhile, not only can I 1v1 mages, but I ALSO have a greater chance vs melee unlike dagger pvp
