I don't know why but I started crying after about 5 minutes in. Very slowly tho, still trying to maintain the breathing. I've been practicing meditation (unguided) for 90 days now, 20 minutes each session. The classic one where you focus on the sensations of your breathing and once you start wondering in thought, notice it and focus back on breathing. So I thought about trying something new and came to mantra meditation. I think it's the combination of the music and the way this man speaks the words that popped up the thought of a friend who lives in Sweden who I haven't seen in a while, remembering the thought of us going to the cinema that swell up my emotions of happiness and sadness at the same time. Slowly thinking of other people and close ones while trying to follow this guided mantra meditation, I sometimes cried a bit more and then felt the appreciation of what I have and that I'm happy and content. Then the calmness started to settle in and I continued the mediation, sometimes a leftover tear ran down my cheeks. Great experience, so thanks for the video!

I practiced breathing at this rate until I was comfortable with it then increase the 4 seconds to , the next level. The thing is not to struggling with your breath while doing this (if you are struggling then decrease the numbers, your numbers will increase in time as you practice (after a fare bit of practice at the same level you will realize how easier it is becoming and will know it is time to increase the numbers to the next level) You can practice with the lower numbers when standing at the cooker, sitting watching TV, at bus stop or waiting your turn in at the shops or the bank or sitting on a bus or train. I practice the lower numbers (whatever is comfortable for me at the time) when I am walking. What I do is count 2,3or4 steps (like is said whatever is comfortable at the time) - example = 3steps walking 'breathing in' - 3steps walking 'holding' - 3steps walking 'breathing out' - 3steps walking 'holding' and just repeating the cycle. Best wishes. Steve
