You are invited to join me for a 15 minute guided dance meditation where we will focus on releasing stagnant emotions and setting new intentions for ourselves ❤️

You don’t need to be a dancer in order to do this practice, all you need is some comfortable clothing and a space to move in.
I recommend shutting the lights and closing your eyes as you dance, in order to bring your attention fully to the moment.
Remember: move however FEELS right for you, don't think about how it looks or what needs to happen, let the music and my voice take you away.

this is an old video, I know I'm late. At the age of 20 I decided I needed to stop waiting for my parents to love me as they should, but with little access to healthcare I didn't know where to start. I saw that dancing could help release trauma especially in the hips, so I went for it. I'm not an emotional person, I'm not in tune with my body, quite clumsy actually, and I've never been able to dance. But this video helped me feel something I haven't felt since I was about 8, my own body. I could feel the energy so well, and I wasn't second guessing my movements like I usually do, I was even able to do a little move I had convinced myself I just couldn't do! I already feel better, and I know this is long, but it could be so much longer. I am truly grateful

I danced to music of my ancestors and it was very emotional they say we inherit trauma it was like releasing weight I've been carrying around and becoming more comfortable with who I am

When I learned martial arts at the beginning, I played it before I slept on bed. I was crazy about it and I am afraid I would be insane. Later in, I used music to meditation to clam down, because martial arts is an aggressive skill

I’ve never felt comfortable moving my body but this morning I found this video by chance and I let loose in the living room, it took me a while to let go completely, but when I did there was tears and sounds and I let my body do whatever it needed to do. Incredibly powerful and what I didn’t know I needed in this exact moment. Thank you 🙏🏻💜

I can’t express my thanks for this practice. I felt that I inhabited my body, that I came home after a long long time away. I’ve been alienated from and disgusted by my body for so long and it was so freeing to feel that I don’t have to live that way. I’ve had such a hard time trusting my body and myself because of that. During these movements I feel I was really able to just let my body guide me and not judge it, and it felt so good. I’m hoping to continue this journey of healing from here on out.

I felt a lil scared to express my self at first, but gradually built up the confidence to just allow myself to just be and benefit from this awesome moment! I was imagining myself pulling out the limited thoughts, anxiety, anger , sad ness, low confidence and all emotions that been inside and decided to let it go and it was no longer apart of me. I am trying to find way to heal myself and open myself up to new things that are good for me. I think I will be incorporating this into my everyday life thank you for this i appreciate you 🌈💫🔮✨🌻

it's insane, I did this dance meditation the first time cause of my stocked emotions and I had pimples over my arms while letting out the anger. thank you so much, whenever I feel emotionally stocked I will do the dance meditation ❤️

I can't thank you enough for this MAGICAL practice. In this I became my raw self.. I moved, I cried.. I let my wild hair down and I roared! 🐆 It was amazing and I've never experienced anything like this through dance. I've only just discovered your channel, but please make more of these types of videos and perhaps an extended version? I wanted more and more. Shir Levi I’ve done this 3 times now and I’m going to make it a regular thing! Love it! I love that dancing is life running through your body. When I close my eyes doing this I like to think that I’m floating in space/air and just forget everything around me and just feel the movement and music.

Thank you for a much needed connection to myself through dance. I have been going every Sunday for many years with a large dance community. I miss it so much since the pandemic. I dance at home to music I find on KZbin from all around the world. This is my way of staying balanced and true to myself.

I am grateful for the space you created here. I came into this space feeling profoundly depressed. While the depression is still present in my body, this dance meditation helped me to find where my feelings live in my body and release some of what I was experiencing. Thank you so much.

Hi Shir ❤️ This has been definitely most affective video on KZbin i have come across. This made me cry, it made me release sadness. I felt the sadness in my body for me judging it consciously and unconsciously for so so many times. It is something i have struggled with again lately. I felt anger for my own actions i have taken in the past by the guidance of my ego and i was litterally punching and kicking the asses of my egos i imagined all around me. I shed the last 'egoskin' off my shoulders and i looked back and imagined it burn. After this I felt like my heart a opened up to release a bit more love once again! Even though trying to lose the self mocking part of yourself is so hard and it can be deep in, I am so proud of myself that i did this ❤️thank you, thank you, thank you. I'd love a video of egodeaths or something. Much love 🌸🌸🌺❤️

Ego cant truly die however.... we can only learn to become one with our ego. To let the ego work with us instead of against us. When we can learn to accept and love the ego truly...it will listen and help us instead. Like a child living within us.

this was amazing! I had just finished sitting down doing a emotional digestion process. this is where I sit straight up and put on emotional music and just feel my own emotions without putting any meaning or words to it. for 20 minutes. then I just did your video. thank you so much for helping with this video

I've been looking for ways to do body work and release stagnated emotions and find a way to come back to my body. I did this with my eyes closed . Emotions welled up inside of me (I couldn't identify all of them as I disassociate as a coping mechanism) I started to cry. Thank so much for making this channel. Thank you so much for this. I had never done a dance meditation, in fact I don’t think I’d ever really danced by letting my body move how it wanted to, there was always a level of self consciousness and control. It felt incredible liberating to let go of that and feel the joy that comes from letting the body respond how it wants to to the music. Then there was a lot of tears and then a lot of anger. And then incredibly powerful to physically embody the feelings I want to nurture. I’m now doing it at least once a week, around my normal chanting of Nam Myoho Renge Kyo as I’m a buddhist, and some quick bits of yoga (I’m a mum) and it continues to be transformative. Dance and movement is definitely a powerful way to complete the stress cycle. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful practice.

I had never heard of five rhythms until i read it in a book earlier today. This was my first try and I did it twice - just what i needed to release, i feel much better!! Thank you very much 🙏
