Swamy my brother, you are the 🐐. Thank you. Listened to this 3 times in the last few days and it helps me a lot. I feel myself coming out of this at last. The OCD thoughts and slight physical discomfort is what keeps DPDR from leaving my body.

Swamy G definitely. Im sticking to it this time tho and all these thoughts i just think of as clouds passing by or as little things in my head trying to ruin my day but i just dont let them get to me and allow them to be there all they want, they dont like that and theyll leave soon lol.

@@RealSwamyG hi, thank you for your videos. Is it common to suddenly develop an overwhelming fear of death (especially sudden death) and nothingness after a few months of dpdr? I think the dpdr feelings are almost gone but I'm struggling with this horrible fear of potential dying (mine or my loved one's) and in general suffering in the future. Could this ironically be a sign of actual recovery, maybe my mind is just processing all the fears after dpdr? Is it possible for such overwhelming fear of death /future to just fade away? Please reply

Thank you for these videos Swamy. Despite having many other resources, even paid ones, your videos are still great and helpful. I just have a question, if that's okay. Did you experience vision problems during DPDR? See I had 20/20 vision, but ever since I began experiencing the symptoms my vision got worse. I'm hopeful that I will recover in the near future, and I'm wondering (if you did experience vision problems) if your vision went back to normal?

I experienced HD vision which made everything appear brighter. I don't have that anymore. I do have after images still and do also have floaters. These don't bother me that much and I don't care that much if it will always be like this.

To me, observing thoughts is one main cause for my DP/DR. I started meditation because of anxiety and depression. I did it with consistency. And then I relapsed anyway but with DP also. During the dark months, when I watched them, I have had creepy thought on thoughts. Like who am I? What is this? For me it's a hint for existential thoughts. What I learned is: defusion is good for catastrophic and destructive thoughts, but it shouldn't be done systematically with everything that arises (unless you want to become a Buddha... I guess). Anyway, thank you for your work, I really appreciate your channel 💚 you make me feel understood.

And after you start to have will to be budhha it will sucks😳😧 being a normal human is the best .. we are human and happiness sadness mistakes emotions are natural things for human ..we supposed to embrace every emotions and live the life whatever we are going through ,,we cant control the nature and universe let nature and god control everything our duty is living the life .... in my opinion,.

@@marial3301 Hi. Yes, thanks. They are amost all gone. I recovered from depression during these months. But not with meditation. Actually I stopped meditation and never did it again. I'm not comfortable with it anymore. I guess that for different people, different practices are needed. Dhyana is not my thing, or maybe I was somehow doing it wrong. Bringing presence in what I'm doing and writing thoughts, now are practices from which I can gaining some wellbeing.

@@samiso5900 it's the same for me, and generally many dp experts say meditation isn't good for dpdr. What helped you recover from existential thoughts /dp/depression? Was it just living a normal life? How long did you struggle with scary existential thoughts and depression ?

I'm experiencing DPDR too, and have been for a while. Truth this, I just got used to it, so I haven't bothered to go the extra mile and change my lifestyle and recover. It gets better over time, and you can heal if you really want to. It's not a disease, it's an experience. And though I can't relate, I've heard about people with bipolar disorder and how tough it must be. Just know that, no matter what happens, there is always someone experiencing the same thing as you. At least one person. If your brain is too foggy, just try to see that light at the end of the tunnel. Because it is there. Just remember that with DPDR and anxiety, you're not yourself. I’m turning 16 dec 6 and I got it from a trip of a bad high on weed In April 14th ,I feel bi polar aswell like I get better than it gets worse and etc but I’m starting my own path and trying to make it better ,don’t think about too much because I did myself since august and it got worse but hey just don’t think about it to much ,go get distracted and don’t panick so much about it because this advice is coming from a guy who overthinks everyday and prolly has add with adhd and anxiety and dp/dr

Swarmy, I know this is kind of an awkward question, but does m*sterbating have any effect on dp dr? Serious question by the way I just want to know if Im doing the things to help my recovery.

I've answered this elsewhere. It totally depends on you. If you compulsively masturbate, it can make you feel bad. You can also feel anxiety from it. You may feel depressed or shameful later on. It can also lead to feeling DPDR. I think it mostly depends on the person. Try not masturbating for a month and see how that makes you feel.
