@annierosenberg3 жыл бұрын
Any form of meditation is helpful, especially one working on Epigenetics. Unfortunately though with a diagnosis, your Father already has some health concerns. The good thing is through a healthy mindset, he can be mentally ready for a road to better health. Thanks for reaching out, keeping you and your family in my thoughts.

I did your pms/pmdd meditation last night. I'll leave my experience over there. It was cool. This one is good, but was a little harder to get into for me bc too much focus on education rather than meditation. Explaining what epigenetics is before the meditation and then plugging the like, subscribe, notify at the end, really took away from the meditation process. Maybe make a different educational video to refer people to. Also, one thing I've noticed about a lot of guided meditation videos in general is that they always start out with "think about what's bothering you" which is fine, but then they give examples like work, stress, family, traffic, etc. - I personally don't think the examples are necessary. I could be feeling anxiety or stress from just having an exhausting day or relationship ruts, but then it's like a trigger when the practitioner mentions "work" or whatever and my mind is suddenly trying to not think of whatever was suggested. - my point is saying something like "bring awareness to what is bothering you, take a deep breath, and let it go on the exhale." Is more powerful for me than including suggestive specifics. - 💖🦋 Love your voice and flow though. I did subscribe. 🥰
@annierosenberg2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Abby. This is indeed an educational video for those new to these topics and was created before I was approved for Ads on my page. At this point in my work I needed to self promote in order to reach a specific number of followers and view time for Ad approval. My newer and upcoming videos for 2023 all dive into the topic right away without the self promotion. As for the feedback, it would be great if I could make each meditation focusing on the person specifically, alas this is a free meditation and I have to create it to a large group. If someone wants something more specific they can take the time to schedule a 1:1 session with me. Thank you for your feedback and have Happy New Year.

@Panbaneesha4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this, I really enjoy the concept of epigenetic healing. Alas, this meditation is not for me. It's too fast for my needs (the speech as well as the jumping from one visualization to the next, I always need to stay a bit longer with one thing before, after a pause, going to the next). But I'm glad that so many people enjoy this, and maybe one of your other videos works better for me. Please do not take this as criticism, I just find in meditation everybody needs different things, and my anxiety has a field day when things don't move slowly enough. ;) Love from Germany

I heard Darwin's finches had an epigenetic mutation to change their beak size and shape. I guess they meditated a lot.
@annierosenberg3 жыл бұрын
Yes, they discovered in that study that calmodulin was expressed at detectably higher levels in cactus finches compared to ground finches, and therefore they had longer beaks. This is a great example of how the body adapts to its surroundings and indeed super relevant to Epigenetics. Thanks for sharing this! Excellent point.
