When I looked back on what I used to have a hard time letting go of, it made me realize how long I replayed a situation in my mind. I pray that this meditation helps us all detach faster from the negative stories we are telling ourselves 💫

I'm stuck in a shitty lovless relationship with a truly abusive person we are not even intimate and haven't been for a long time. Meditation has become my escape when I am allowed internet access. That's not very often so not as advanced as should be. Things have got so bad recently and ive deciswd i want to leave. I know that has 1 come from within me but I'm hoping this meditation will give me the added strength to leave tomorrow. I'm ready 2 break free and start my own life and be happy. As I listened to this I was pulled through a tunnel it seemed.. more like a swirling thing of stars. All of the sudden there was a shield around me. Like it was protecting me so I could do what I needed t do. Then I walked over to a light switch and flipped it on. It was so bright it was like a prism shooting light out of it. I was in a relationship for 8 months and I found out he cheated last month.. it was hard on me today. It’s my first day and I’ve always loved myself so I’m glad I’ve always had tht mindset where I didn’t need anyone to make me feel loved or feel pretty. I was married to a narcissist for over 20 years. He discarded me in 2016. I am disabled and could not afford the mortgage payments on the marital home. My only option was to file for divorce hoping the judge would award alimony. The narcissist was making around $3,000 a month and hired a divorce lawyer and Legal Aid would not help at all. In the end, he got the home and was not ordered to pay anything and I became homeless living in a car. It’s been almost 6 years since the divorce and I am still grieving for everything I lost and the memories of us replay in my mind constantly. I need to detach my heart and mind from the past so I can go on with my life. I hope this meditation can help me do that.

You are so worth it. That sentence may not even apply to you but that’s ok because you still need to know your worth those people in your life that you may hate or think negative of aren’t worth the loss of your peace. Sometimes I forget and I know you do too. It’s best not to think about what they’ve done to you or what they may do again but how you can break the cycle of thinking about them and what they’ve done to you because it drains you and the worst part to you is it does nothing to them. Start trying to enjoy everything again what they have done to you can only be justified and not erased let it all go. Your pain can be short lived or it can fester inside of you until all you think about are those people that hurt you. It’s best to forgive yourself and try to be positive again. That’s very hard for us humans because we focus on the negativity more than the positivity and that can eventually destroy you if you let it but don’t let it. Your are worth it so don’t let it.

A whirlwind of memories came back to me listening to this. some bad, some good and all with mixed feelings of remembering what is now changed. I feel grateful to have lived such an intense and colorful life . i forgot what that was like during the past two years of being home mostly. i am happy to experience again, to live again. different but with the risk of getting hurt regardless. i feel grateful for all of it in this moment, for the countless feelings and situations and relationships, the good, the wonderful, the bad, the ugly, the undefined. i feel glad to experience all the facets of life and have the privilege of exploring and learning.

Thank you from Thailand. It was the first time I tried this guided meditation. I recovered my lost memory. When I was 8-9 years old, the other little girls saw a bird was tied on its leg hidden in a bush. Probably some naughty kids hid it and went back to their classes. These girls told me to look at it. They said the bird trying to bite them. No one dared to help. I reached my hand and got bitten hard. It hurt so much and all I heard was “the bird is biting your finger”. I was in pain and so angry because the bird didn’t let go of my finger and the other girls did nothing at all. Suddenly I told them to tear the rope on its leg. I don’t remember who broke the rope but finally we saw the bird flew away. We let it go. I have been depressed for many months and this memory gives me peace. Thank you for bringing it back to me.

Hi bba Jo, yes I am a Christian and I love my Jesus. I've been using these meditations for over a year and they have helped me enormously in dealing with my life and caring for a very sick daughter with two different cancers. There are certain types of mediation that I would not use but Mindful Peace are suitable for all types of spirituality and have helped me to stay grounded and focused on the journey ahead and being the best mum I can be in getting her to her final days. I do have moments of blind panic, a lot in fact, but without these meditations I would be a whole lot worse. And I find I can incorporate prayer into these meditations which is an added bonus. Very very moving, yet also inspiring and uplifting and although very tragic and sad, if we keep hold of our Saviour, keep our eyes on Him then He will bring us through every storm and give us the hope that sometimes escapes us in what seems a hopeless situation. This dear lady is too young to have to face such pain and sorrow but her heart and her soul are beautiful and beat in time with the heart of God. I'm dealing with a painful breakup with a girl I still love, I lost my job because of how depressed and careless I became, and I quit weed which was my safety blanket for anxiety. I feel so lost and confused since I thought this girl cared about me. It's my birthday today too. I hate feeling like this and I can't turn my brain off.

I'm sorry friend, I've been there. it gets better... Find something you care about to do, send a pleasant message to everyone on your contacts - just copy and paste the same one. See who responds... you'll be surprised. depression tricks your brain into thinking that no one care about you... it's very convincing.

I cried during this. It made me remember something that has really racked me with guilt, and I cannot get it out of my head. A family member bought this little bell from a car boot stall (few years ago now), the first ever thing he'd bought, and one I'd rolled it out the way for whatever reason, and it bumped lightly into the skirting board. With the slightest of knocks and a tiny crack (I did not yeet the thing...) on the inside, the chime noise went. It still makes a noise, but not the original. (the inside bell wasn't damaged so I've no idea how it went wrong/changed). This happened a few years ago now but it still kills me to this day because I can't get the image of it rolling out of my head. Such a little scenario, but my God it sticks in my head so much compared to the other things I've done in the past. :(

I appreciate this, I have a hard time letting go honestly a lot of things lately and keep remembering things and just getting sad or frustrated about the situation even if it is small. I think by worrying and analyzing it in my head I can find the solution but it’s not like that and it’s easier to let go at this point.

Spiritually divine 🙏 Thank you for this beautiful meditation. In forgiving, and in letting go the trauma I experienced and horror in an abusive marriage, am I right in drawing the boundary in the forgiveness? He does not know I have forgiven to take back my power, but the boundary line remains, others say if I forgive I can allow him into my space, I say No, that's crossing my boundary line, I forgiven, I merely greet if I cross his path and walk on but I wont allow him to enter my sacred space or near the children born of this relationship as he caused them so much trauma with his violence, at time there was no escape route for me and children. Now we hav been free for 11 years. My son been much older now wants contact but it upsets me as he was,too young to know of many things my ex did or he has blocked it out and I find it extremely upsetting, I wrote a book for the children to truly understand the horror we endured. But they find it to painful to go back 😥

Im 17 , me and my partner is taking a break and it was unannounced so i cried for the longest and this is the second day of it… im learning to calm down and letting it go and trying to detach my feels until he comes back , but i feel like it wont be the same when he come bck bc im upset that he didnt communicate with me … but at least he talked it out with someone … now im trying to wait and accept it
