This is a new guided mindfulness meditation on recognizing your thoughts and emotions. Although we may describe emotions in simple terms - Happy or sad - emotions can actually be quite complex. Often, we are seeking a feeling of contentment, but are fighting those creeping feelings of anxiety, fear, anger, guilt, and so on... Recognizing our negative emotions can help us to actively analyze where these feelings are coming from. This awareness can open the door to a greater sense of stillness and peace from moment to moment.
This is a relatively short meditation session, with about 6 minutes of dialogue and 6 additional minutes of ambient music for thought and reflection. I hope you enjoy these few moments for yourself... You are a strong person and you deserve to take time for love and care for yourself!

I really really like your videos but can i recommend just a brief ending like "bring back your awareness, open your eyes and namaste" or anything really. Being deep in meditation and a commercial come blasting on outta nowhere is really a bummer. With that said i absolutely love everything else about your videos. ❤️

😂😂😂 that cracked me up. I was literally lying on the floor doing a KZbin meditation the other day and a commercial started blasting out of nowhere HALFWAY through !! It was a different channel but safe to say….I lost my zen

@@reeno02 yep i can't remember which channel that was but now i fast forward to end and back to begining and it wipes out commercials that are in the middle of the video just in case. I mean in the middle of a mediation video? Come on. 🤦

@@reeno02 yep. Literally same. Candles. Incense, really goin deep into relaxation then .... Bam! A political ad. 😂 Literally the worst of any commercial. ... But yea skip to end and back. Its never not worked. And i sure aint paying for premium. ✌️

I have always struggled with anger , resentments, and unforgiveness. I have been working on it with a therapist and 12 step sponsor, and it is getting better. I was told that resentments only hurt you, not the wrongdoers. I had to write down my resentments and how they affected me to see the damage to motivate me to let go. I also had to write down my part in the resentments so I could see where i was in the wrong, make amends, change behaviors, build my character and reconcile relationships if appropriate. Obviously there are some situations you don't play a part like if you were abused. I really get into psychology and human behavior so I like to understand why people act how they do for example mental illness. It helps to have compassion on them and to wish them well. This is NOT justifying or condoning it just helps to understand, have compassion, and wish them well. Its also not good to get revenge, not only because of consequence but they will get their karma and there will be justice. If it motivates them to change and make amends be happy for them.

Can you please make a short meditation on jealousy? I would rather be happy for my family and friends successes instead of being bitter of my own situation and then using it to help motivate me towards productivity and consistency. Your videos have really made my life easier. Thank you MP! 🧘‍♂️

I need this rn because i feel so sad rn and my anxiety is through the roof and I deal with tics so im just gonna close my eyes and just try to relax but hope that I can overcome my problem in the future

I'm having a hard time starting with mindfulness and meditation, trying to at least finish a video. But when you said "let it go" I thought I needed to let go of the emotion. But what happend is I let my emotion (sadness) all out. I ugly cried? It happend all of a sudden and it scared the sh*t out of me 😅 so thanks. Will definitely watch more of your videos.

I'm quite new to mindfulness so my concentration wavers quite easily. I was having this moment, bawling my eyes out, and then I hear the "Let it go, Let it go, Let it go" so I guess I'm the Elsa of late trauma processing now lmao I'm sorry 😂 I really like your videos though. I listen to the morning ones and the midday break quite often. Thanks for your hard work!

i cried once i hear ur voice.. it reminds me of my old friend that we no longer talk anymore.. the way you talk sounds like him.. he used to give me meditation like this also back then.. and i miss him so much.. hope he's ok now.. thank u for this channel

The Ending of my meditation Was abrupt thanks to a suprising commercial .a Brief ending Would be nice. Also the meditation didnt really help with recognizing any Emotion but "letting them go"

Please reply .Iam doing meditation for 5 days on 6th day onwards during and after meditation i felt burning or warm sensations in chest and increased heart rate and blood flow. What happening to me i dont know please could you help me with it some are saying suppressdd eneegies are healing is it true

I don’t like this meditation, some chatter about emotions and then “let’s meditate on them”. I came to this video because I am too unaware of my emotions, I need guidance to understand what I actually feel. This was too broad I didn’t understand how to do it.

Try the practice of R.A.I.N. You can find through Tara Brach but other meditation teachers share the practice to work with and learn to be with emotions. I hope this helps.
