Love the format. One month late in watching this but I love this type of you and sitting and letting us enter your wonderous mind! My initial thought of hearing this song was a mature, guilty version of Enchanted. I just love the concept of Tay's imaginative mind for a relationship that has not happen yet and just pining for it~~ My favorite lines from the song and I just sing them randomly some time. Tay lyrics literally can be written about anyone.. for any situation you are going through. It doesn't even have to be romance, like friendship or family situations too.. even my own thoughts. (1) They don’t know how you’ve haunted me so stunningly I choose you and me religiously. (2) What if he’s written ‘mine’ on my upper thigh only in my mind? (3) Someone told me there’s no such thing as bad thoughts only your actions talk Keep doing what you want to do to your heart's content! Don't ever let the world or even yourself bring you sorrow. Find joy in all the actions you do for yourself!

Love this💗💗💗💗 My small contribution: I really like to see the religious references connected to what's good/bad and the "soulmates" motif that Taylor loves. Like her coming out of the cave, rolling the stone away, knowing that people are not gonna like anything she does anyway, but who cares because maybe this is whats right. Basically the line what if the way you hold me is actually what's holy? in my mind is a way of saying what if this is what's meant to happen, my "soulmate", what's "good", what God intended for me. To choose someone religiously is also saying you are the false god im idolising now, I'm just going to follow you blindly and have faith in that this is real.

I really enjoyed watching this video, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I was raised christian, so this is my take on the Jesus refrence. The stone on Jesus his grave was rolled away on the third day, because people said he was risen from the dead. So maybe it is her checking if the love is still there or if it died. Can she revive it, or is it to late? And it is her knowing that whatever she does she gets crucified. So she is judged and hanged for whatever she does(, cause she is in a cage circled by wolves). It also reminds me of the All to well 10 minute version where she sings: " 'Til we were dead and gone and buried Check the pulse and come back swearin' it's the same After three months in the grave" It also talks about seeing if something is still alive after a period of time. Even though I think the perspectives and the persons that do that are different. I see some parallels between this song and others songs, if your talking about the cage and stuff. But it was very fun to hear how much we experience this song in the same way and see the same things. The friends I have don't like taylor, so it's fun to share the songs and thougths in this way.
