Perfect medallian for that color & texture finish. Accents are everything!

I never thought about adding an element like this in to a build.

I hadn't either. I just felt, considering the theme, it needed a little something extra.

The medallion is dope!

Can you believe that it's actually a cabinet knob?

Another great touch!!!! This guitar is going to look so awesome!! I too could go either format for how you’re doing them.
@GuitarGoomba6 жыл бұрын
Cool. It seems people want them to be as short as possible and as long as necessary.

That medallion is a nice touch. I think for items like the last 2 videos the shorter length makes sense. Though when you start on electronics and the like the job would dictate a longer runtime.
@GuitarGoomba6 жыл бұрын
Actually, the electronics on this kit will be super simple.

Looks pretty sweet, man. Looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.

From here, it will go to the winner fairly quickly. If you want to win the guitar, you should go back, watch all of the other videos, give them a thumbs up, and leave comments on them. You have one entry so far and you get an entry for every build video you comment on.

Another unique touch to a unique guitar. I like the shorter videos.

I'm glad that it is being so well received. I thought for certain that I would have a bunch of trolls bagging on what a crap job I'm doing (or a thousand other things).

I would never think to do some thing like this but it is AWESOME! I'm gonna try and make a guitar of my own one day but I don't have the tools😭
@GuitarGoomba6 жыл бұрын
You can build a kit like this with a phillips screwdriver and a crescent wrench. I may do that at some point; see how few of tools I can use to build a functional guitar.

I could go with either format... As usual I'm getting random ideas while watching your videos including using a piece of metal mounted in THAT particular spot (where my arm always crosses) as an alternate grounding point... but a few seconds reflection revealed that probably wasn't electrically sound. :)
@GuitarGoomba6 жыл бұрын
No, you want to ground the bridge.

I think the video lengths depend on what is being done. Typically I prefer shorter videos, but there are steps to building a guitar that I don't think you can cut up into several videos. That medallion looks great, by the way!

Thanks. I had the idea to look for a cowboy themed cabinet knob and found several. That was the one I liked best.

Nice touch, the medallion. I like both formats of video. Maybe mix it it up.

I shall endeavor to make the videos as short as possible while being as long as they need to be.

I don't know about that. Although, if I do end up building a guitar for the band I spoke of in one of the videos, it could happen.
