Kiko is an Amazing Guitar Player and lots of variety.. he had opportunity to learn lots of style before he came into Megadeth. Marty left Megdeth because he wanted to broaden his Guitar Playing.. because all he do in Megadeth is Metal.. But unfortunately, when Marty left Megadeth.. he is always associated in Metal Guitar playing by his fans.. so.. yeah.. Marty is still playing Metal Stuffs.. a never left Metal Guitar Style until this day..

Um, I started out a Metallica fan. They lost me a long time ago. Seen them twice. 86 and 88. Megadeth has flattened Metallica in the metal realm imho! I made a comment on one of the new Megadeth songs, i regret. That his vocals were declining with age. I was wrong, I listened to two other records from 2008 and 2013, and his vocals are deepening a bit as compared to the last Megadeth record i bought in the mid 90's. But his vocals are still bad to the bone. Way better than Hetfield's tobacco laden screech vocals now. Sorry, I will have to slam Metallica to praise Megadeth now. History baby.. Check it. They make it a bit more exciting than the album I guess. Back in those times, Heavy Metal is the thing which not necessarily fast unlike in the early 80's which is Thrash Metal. This is probably the tempo that they originally wanted but producers suggests to make it a bit slower. Enter Sandman of Metallica was supposed to be faster as well.. but producers suggested to make it slower and make it heavier instead.

Gotta love Chris Broderick. He is one of the best and most technical guitarist. It is funny if I look at what he played before Megadeth, like during Nevermore or Jagpanzer, it is like 10x harder and more technical than any of these Megadeth songs. There is only a few guitarist who can achieve such clean sounding notes at high speed solos and sweeps.

+Thexderx they tend to do that , yes... Also, in my particular case it hurts every time that guy tries to recreate a Marty Friedman solo, shit! I rather him try to come up with his own solos for those songs, he may be hitting almost all the right notes but there is a lot more to it than that. I am pretty sure he must be a good guitar player with solid knowledge but he does not sound good when trying to emulate Marty, probably the same scenario would happen if he tries to go Chris Poland (former megadeth guitar player also)
