I just think it's so refreshing to see a guitarist and teacher so enthused about someone else's playing, most of the musicians I jam with are so jaded, especially fellow guitarists . I guess they have heard so much music and been so analytical that they disregard the emoting that players do when the notes are coming from emotions. Mr. Palmisano you are the real deal.huge respect to you.

I don't think you'll get many arguments. And combined with his singing? Dude's got soul. The thing is, there are so many incredible talents amongst the Gen x Gen Zers. Matteo Mancuso is a singular talent, Joe Bonamassa, Philipp Sayce are just a few of my favorites. I think Marcus has the most soul of all of 'em, and that is saying a lot.

Met Marcus and band with his booking agent in Spokane Wa 4 years ago after a show. We stood on a sidewalk for over an hour just talking everything and music. Like hanging with your lifelong friends. GREAT KATS

I'm a singing drummer and I thoroughly enjoyed this passionate, enthusiastic, loving, respectful and knowledgable breakdown of one of the planets rarest talents - that is Marcus King. I just saw him at the Enmore theatre, Sydney Australia and I felt blessed to be there to witness such a talent, an incredible complete package - his band was just as mighty. Seen marcus king a handful of times over the last 3 or 4 years and everytime it's so different and he blows me away, one time it was a cover of war pigs by sabbath and it just blew my shit away next time I got some of the slow bluesier stuff and got to see his real soulful talent hes just so genuine and an amazing player and singer

I used to see these pop up in my feed and think “wow what an awful and cheap concept, I hate reaction videos” then I watched your videos and this is awesome stuff. For an intermediate to advanced guitarist like myself you break down just enough- you demonstrate your knowledge which is massively more than my own with humility but some real skill and a bloody brilliant ear. I saw Marcus for the first time 4 years ago at a small club in Bethesda MD. He is the best young guitar player I have seen in years. Couple that with the voice and the writing and it's the trifecta. Thanks so much for doing this video. I started playing again and listening to music because of him. Marcus is the future of the music I love.

I watch Michael's videos but slowly find myself grasping theory from him. I am very much a low intermediate but low watching his genuine reactions to great music. Great content, I am amazed at how talented and easily he can grasp these concepts. I only hope I can this easily rip up a solo and dissect a song this easily in five-ten years.

You're a great teacher. This is the kind of theory I need to elevate my game. I've done the hours of scales and chords, I just need to make it all slow down in my head like it does for you. I can't just look at the guy playing and pick the chords out of the progression. I've been too loose with my training.

Love Marcus. He grew up not too far from me. He really draws some big inspiration from The Allman Brothers, specifically Dickie, Duane, and Warren. You can definitely hear it in his music!

Tons of great insight into what Marcus king dose as a blues player, he’s brilliant and so is Michael explaining all of this stuff, I really wish I could take lessons from someone like Michael as a left handed guitar player it might be a tiny bit tricky but I know I would learn a ton from this guy. And I think that because they don't look like Brad Cooper or whoever they don't get airplay or even chosen on my Alexa playlists even when I ask for them. Its an unjust and nutso world man...
