There are a lot of these lessons out there. A LOT. This is easily one of the best. No filler, no heavy theory, high production value, excellent camera work, simple to understand explanations. I will definitely dig deeper.

If you are trying to write the score for shuffle beat, use 4/4 but with a pair of 1/8-notes = a triplet with a 1/4 and a 1/8 to get the feel. It works with Guitar Pro s/w if you do this.

Wow Eddie, ive played this kind of 12 bar blues for many years, but I never knew the little nuances you use in this video, thank you so much for showing us. Just want you to know how much I enjoy your style of teaching, I get a kick out of your little mess ups when you go oops and then fix it and move right on. Thanks again ☺ Dave

Eddie - I always enjoy your lessons. The GMM courses have taught me a broad array of methods to play, all that can be used in any style. I am finally choosing to focus on a style and that is the Blues. This lesson is really helpful to build a foundation. I love that you do not edit all your mistakes. It not only shows like a real guitar lesson it reminds us all that you are still human and make mistakes, just like us. Thank you for all your work.

Thank you, it's great! Just one comment, though, Eddie. At 6:07, on the in-video tab, the 8th bar ends with a 2 on the A string which I think is intended for the next bar. That many notes would only make sense with a triplet and in any case, I'm hearing shuffle and only one B note. At 6:27 it becomes clear when the green dot misses the duplicated note, although, it misses the wrong one. This doesn't take anything away from the playing itself, though! ;-)
@susand98814 жыл бұрын
No problems, though. Since then, I've downloaded the available tab from GMM and that one looks right. It was probably just a typo at some stage. I'm busy practicing, now. :-) Thanks, again for a great tutorial, Eddie!! I find it challenging enough but learnable and it doesn't sound like a learner's piece.
