HOLY DOM PERIGNON! Perfect Set Up, Shaun - the instant that champagne bottle popped up on the screen, ya just KNEW what was coming next - and ya didn't disappoint.... Jon going full-tilt Hunter S. Thompson, draped over the Camry with a .50 cal. You guys and your firearms - Remind me to always call you Sir. And you just know some moron went "wwww why would they do that?!?!", leading to the inevitable: BECAUSE THEY CAN !!! Truly Awesome.

Who in their right mind would want to be a Commercial Airline Pilot after seeing how good you guys live. Sorry, I meant Francine also! Thoroughly enjoy all your videos. I would rate your level of entertainment very high! You get the best of both worlds on your channel. Watch you guys fly the G-IV and visit interesting places. That's as good as it gets for everyone. Tell Francine, things do happen in Vegas but they go no further! They did happen unfortunately for some people who would rather forget! You guys are the best!

Hi guys, I’m a retired military pilot and I really enjoyed every video you posted, thank you so much, now a constructive criticism, every pilot I’ve known fly with a wing above their heart and I don’t see one on neither of you, bother the heck out of me, lol, sorry just an old eagle habit, I promise it will make you look more handsome that you guys already are. Finally watched this vid with that great approach to SLC. Loved seeing Mt. Nebo, Mt. Timpanogos and Utah Lake, all part of the Utah Valley, followed by the SLC Valley, where I basically grew up at (after all my growing up all over the US with my old man being in the Army then Air Force). Next time you get into the SLC area, during the winter months, let me know and it would be great to go skiing with you, if that would be ok. One question, at takeoff, when you say positive rate, for the landing gear up sequence, does that mean positive vertical rate? Also, at the LAS takeoff you followed the yellow Spirit Airlines aircraft taking off. That in a way reminded me of the old Hughes Air West Flying Bananas. Just saying... Again, loved the SLC approach! Tim
@CorporatePilotLife6 жыл бұрын
We will likely do some skiing this year in Park City...love to meet up then! You are exactly correct on the positive rate being vertical rate. There has been more than one pilot to retract the landing gear before they left the ground, so this prevents that from happening.

Hey Sean why doesnt John hold the yoke forward when you land and you do for him?

The tiller for ground steering is on the left side of the cockpit. He needs his left hand for that once we get slowed down. That's why I hold the yoke forward on his landings. Good question.

Hi sean hello from mexico, I have a question I have seen most of your videos but in any video before landing I see that you do a briefing for any type of approach, I'm a pilot also flying a pilatus NG and in all kind of approaches we do the briefing, my questions is if they do it but you do not record that part of the video or just follow the fms gives it to you by default ?
@CorporatePilotLife7 жыл бұрын
Hey Edgar! We always do a briefing before each approach; however, sometimes it is very brief for visual approaches to airports that we are very familiar with. I should show that, though. Thanks for the suggestion!

What's up Sean..... great videos guys! Quick question.....I've noticed that sometimes the cpt has full beard..... does the GIV has a newer type of oxygen mask that facial hair is not big of a factor to seal or your company just don't mind facial hair for pilots!? Tks and keep up the good work..... you three (Francine included) are the best crew on youtube! 👍🏽
@CorporatePilotLife7 жыл бұрын
There has been a lot of debate as to weather a beard will affect the seal of the mask. Our company doesn't really have an issue with it...but hopefully we never get into a situation where our lives depend on the oxygen masks! Thanks for the compliments!
@Catttrain6 жыл бұрын
Wonderful video, but please minimize the fast forward on takeoffs and landings. Its okay during cruise.
@CorporatePilotLife6 жыл бұрын
Understood. I've been having issues with the cameras sometimes failing to record from time to time. When that happens on the one recording the audio, the footage becomes somewhat useless, so I end up doing a fast forward. I'm working on new options to prevent that from happening in the future. Hang with me while I get it sorted out. Thanks for the input.

Do you ever do an ILS landing or is all by pilot command when you do your approach? How much do you use ILS?
@CorporatePilotLife6 жыл бұрын
We use the ILS almost every day...it is very often flown by the autopilot, however. Even when the weather is clear, we still use the ILS to ensure we are lined up with the correct runway. As crazy as it may sound, there have peen several planes land on the wrong runway, even the wrong airport! These could have been prevented by using some sort of instrument guidance to the runway.

Your harness is too low! (Should be in the belly-button position- or higher) In a sudden deceleration event don't expect a happy ending. Just give it two or three more inches of elevation . . . this is T. Spearman, USAF retired, call sign "Slag." "Slag" by the way, in America means the excrement of molten metal . . . I didn't like it at first, but it kind of grew on me. But don't do what I did when I visited England wearing my "Slag" baseball hat (given to me as a gift) wearing it everywhere . . . it means, in the merry ol' country of England, slang for prostitute . . . no wonder everyone kept looking at me
