@@NikosWings I recorded a high of 41.2degC near Cambridge, UK. It is known by me to be accurate but not regularly certified so unofficial. That is in a position which is in permanent shade on the north side of a building, even shaded from east and west - even at the summer solstice, no direct sunlight fell on it. That's at 52deg 08' 35"N, 20M above MSL. Thankfully, as I run a heat pump system (and have over 3kw of photovoltaic panels on the roof), I am in the rare position (for the UK) of having air conditioning. @@NikosWings Yeah, my solar panels are well past full payback and into straight 1:1 utility bill reduction. We even store heat by overheating a little during daylight in winter then allowing a drop overnight and doing the reverse in summer. Same with our freezer - we set it to coldest in daylight then switch it off overnight, which is not long enough for it to get dangerously unsafe for food.

All that stuff you said from 3:00 to 3:30 can be reworded slightly and apply to so many things in life. My extremely short version of it - Same thing only different. And never be afraid to ask questions. Better to be thought stupid than prove it. And most people are going to think you're stupid. And even if they did, 30 seconds later they have forgotten about you because they're on to the next thing.

Another great video Niko! I was wondering about your situation concerning the Cirrus Vision Jet if I remember the video when you bought the new airplane that you got on the waiting list for the single engine jet. Also sir is the cost of refilling your oxygen expensive? It was amazing to see you get to 18000 feet without a pressurized cabin. I didn’t realize your plane was capable of doing high attitudes. Have safe travels Niko and God bless you and your family! Looking forward to your next video!
@NikosWings2 жыл бұрын
I got off the vision jet list after waiting for 3.5 years with another 4 to go before delivery. If I paid a $500K premium I could get one next year but I don’t do stupid stuff like that. At the end of the day the jet will not get me to my destination much faster than this but will definitely cost 5-10 times more. Oxygen costs me $24/month
@monsterzero7602 жыл бұрын
@@NikosWings oh wow I didn’t realize you had been waiting that long just to get the jet. I understand about not wanting to change aircraft and the 500k premium is a lot of money. Not bad on the oxygen price per month. Thank you sir for your reply. Have a great week and see you on your next video.

See you were at TACAir in Colorado. Hate that Mr. Arnold decided to sell to Signature, but he’s no spring chicken. 1. I can't believe Cirrus isn't sponsoring you yet or at least asking you to help their design/engineering team considering the hours you're putting on this plane. 2. I have said it before, I think you would benefit from a pressurized turboprop like a Lancair Evolution and gain altitude and 100KTS of speed. Just my two cents. I'm a fan, keep it up!
@NikosWings2 жыл бұрын
First I don’t do sponsorships so I can keep it real and not have yet another boss yelling at me lol. The benefit of a pressurized turboprop is actually not that much better when you break it all down. The SR22T is very hard airplane to step up from and extract value proportionate to the cost.
@sleektruck222 жыл бұрын
@@NikosWings I appreciate your desire to keep your channel free of sponsors and any associated pressure. Very admirable. As for the turboprop, I can see your point in terms of costs, it's quite expensive to fly one. My thought is, you're a successful guy and your most valuable asset is time. If it saved you time, it may justify the cost. Maybe I'm projecting. Either way, I commend and appreciate you for what you do. Συνέχισε έτσι!
@NikosWings2 жыл бұрын
I get your point but at the end of the day it needs to make financial and business sense. The formula doesn’t add up yet but maybe soon. Keep in mind that the supply of aircraft is stupidly limited and you end up paying more for a used airplane than if it were new. New ones are impossible to get.
@sleektruck222 жыл бұрын
@@NikosWings Couldn't agree more, prices for everything is ridiculous. Even what I pay for real estate now in Los Angeles vs a few years ago is ridiculous. I'm also seeing 60 year old Cessna's fetching over $100k. Let's just be grateful we can still afford to live our lives, unlike many. 🙏

Great idea, fly IFR and try to go on a calmer day as it gets rough with the terrain. Have your oxygen to go high and cross the mountains, if they bring you in from the North they may give you the space needle as a visual point for final. I use Signature Aviation but use whichever works better for you. All the FBOs are on the west side of the field and private flights use the west runways, the south runways are for the airlines.Most of all have fun
